PA_1478 [30 points]
This one is the first of a series of CryptoPunks mosaïcs made by Invader. CryptoPunks is a non-fungible token (NFT) collection on the Ethereum blockchain. The project was launched in June 2017 by the Larva Labs studio, a two-person team consisting of Canadian software developers Matt Hall and John Watkinson. The experimental project was inspired by the London punk scenes, the cyberpunk movement, and electronic music artists Daft Punk. There are 10,000 unique CryptoPunks (6,039 male and 3,840 female), all of which are made digitally scarce through the use of blockchain technology. Each one was algorithmically generated through computer code and thus no two characters are exactly alike, with some traits being rarer than others.
But this Cryptopunk PA_1478 is not a NFT anymore! He stands now on a façade in Paris, just above the place where New Rose, the legendary records shop and label was. [ # Invaderwashere ]

Second Best "52 Weeks Project"
Since I have been joining the 52 Weeks Project on Flickr it has happened several times that I had to chose between two or more self portraits that week. A difficult choice. The solution is to create a set of all good alternatives. Life is full of choices and sometimes a week has too much opportunities. This is one of those alternatives, the second best. And sometimes just as good.

PA_287 [10 points]
About 10 "ground" space invaders have been re-activated in June 2020. One of the re-activators must have mastered him- or herself the method how to put an invader in the asphalte. This one is located in the Saint-Paul area of the Marais. Just look down to find!
I have never seen the orignal myself, also not the re-activated version of 2016 which was deleted quite quickly a few months later.

A space invader dedicated to Chuck Berry. Charles Edward Anderson Berry (October 18, 1926 – March 18, 2017) was an American singer, songwriter, and one of the pioneers of rock and roll music. This invader was installed about one year after his death day.

This space invader seems faded by the sun but these are the colors of this brandnew invader in the quartier Charonne. Direct sunlight in the late afternoon in Summer and this was space invader number 3787 in the world.

The first space invader of the third wave of Invader in Marseille I encountered almost one year after invasion. Till August 2020 I found and flashed all 13 space invaders of wave 1 (MARS_01 - MARS_11 - 2004 and wave 2 (MARS_12 and MARS_13). But during wave 3 in August 2020 the number of space invaders went up to 97. In total 84 space invaders on my list again. This MARS_75 was the first, on the station where I arrived by Thalys from Amsterdam. There was overcast when I took this photo, doesn't happen that much in Summer in Marseille.

As far as I remember and hunt on space invaders in Paris and beyond (the year 2005) I have seen only seen this space invader for more than 35 percent destroyed. Not flashable on the online game smartphone application FlashInvaders untill June 2015 when of the space invader fans in Paris restored PA_312 and made it 'flashable' again. A perfect job with exactly the same tiles (color, size, material). Two reasons for this revisit: to see this one in full glory and in order to win 10 points in the FlashInvaders game.

A space invader in a Mediterranean atmosphere in the tiny sea harbour of Vallon des Auffes. A harbor only used for pleasure boats. It's hard to get close to this sea reflecting space invader but it is easy flashable for FlashInvaders.

A classic sized re-activated space invader with mirroreyes on a very remarkable spot; the Monument à la République or Statue de la République. This statue is a monumental statuary ensemble, work of Leopold Morice. Inaugurated in 1883 on the Place de la Republique in Paris, France, it represents an allegory of the Republic. The original space invader is one of the 'oldies' from which I have never seen the original. Re-activated after an absence of about 12 years!

In total 4 new flashable space invaders in Rotterdam since July 28th. Thanks to the re-activation team two totally new (re-activated) space invaders for me and two flashable ones.
This one is located in between the neighbourhoods Oude Westen and Middelland in Rotterdam West.
I went there for the first time within 2 days after re-activation but came back for a better photo with more sunlight. The express road S100 is diving under this one.

THE INVASION OF ROTTERDAM
In the year 2001 the city of Rotterdam has been invaded by Invader. It was the 8th city in the world being invaded. In 4 days Invader put 26 space invaders (1 hidden bonus) on the walls of Rotterdam. Sometimes hidden sometimes on very visible locations. As we speak (*September2019) about 21 of 26 space invaders are there. Fifteen of them due to the work of the re-activations. Seven of them are still the original space invaders of 2001 put up by Invader.

A space invader in the suburb Puteaux West of Paris near La Défense. Ten years ago I was here as well to spot this $pace invader PA_1113 but I was too late. It was gone.
Re-activated in 2019 and in 2024 as well. We are looking to the 3rd version of PA_1113 here.

A chauve-souris (bat) space invader in the far suburb Meudon-Val-Fleury Southwest of Paris. Needed to go there by RER line C to visit this one in full sunshine. This was number 3724 in the world.

I already spotted this orange "ground" space invader in May 2006. That was the original at that time. This one is the re-activated version of number 298 in Paris, located on a friendly corner in the 2ème arrondissement.
