PA_1148 [50 points]
A photographic revisit of PA_1148 since the building has been painted in bright colors in 2024 or 2025. This invader is already more than 10 years 'active'.
Almost 5 years after the invasion of the other side by PA_872 (invasion date 03/08/2010, 50 points) the 'B-side' has invaded as well. Same invader, but inverted colors (the other side has a black space invader with a red flash!).

This space invader is dedicated to the fact that in 1999 Invader and street artist ZEVS worked under the name @nonymous and made a film about their secret urban adventures. To celebrate the fact that this is 20 years ago a re-edition of that film was shown on December 7th in Cinema La Clef, haut-lieu de résistance culturele in the Rue Daubenton. This is number 3857 in the world.

It goes without saying that the most famous street artist of Paris, France or even the world Invader also contributed to the Capitale(s) exhibition at Hôtel de Ville in Paris.
For this exhibition, Invader worked it out in such a way that he installed his 1475th space invader in Paris here (along with his 1474th) and that the total points of all space invaders in Paris would be 40,000. And all this in the year he placed his 4000th space invader in Potosie (Bolivia).

PA_243 [20 point]
A space invader with a rich history and 2 comebacks. The original PA_243 was installed in 1999 and removed off the wall not long after. Invader re-invaded this one to have a photo for his 1.1 version of the book L'Invasion de Paris. This one has been deleted in 2011. In 2016 this one is part of the huge Re-Activation wave in Paris by a group of fans of Invader's work and PA_243 was visible and flashable (the game FlashInvaders) again. And and a piece of cultural heritage is restored and back alive.

CryptoPunks is a non-fungible token (NFT) collection on the Ethereum blockchain. The project was launched in June 2017 by the Larva Labs studio, a two-person team consisting of Canadian software developers Matt Hall and John Watkinson. The experimental project was inspired by the London punk scenes, the cyberpunk movement, and electronic music artists Daft Punk. There are 10,000 unique CryptoPunks (6,039 male and 3,840 female), all of which are made digitally scarce through the use of blockchain technology. Each one was algorithmically generated through computer code and thus no two characters are exactly alike, with some traits being rarer than others.

Second Best "52 Weeks Project"
Since I have been joining the 52 Weeks Project on Flickr it has happened several times that I had to chose between two or more self portraits that week. A difficult choice. The solution is to create a set of all good alternatives. Life is full of choices and sometimes a week has too much opportunities. This is one of those alternatives, the second best. And sometimes just as good.
Just a selfie in Clermont-Ferrand...
Location: Centre du Clermont-Ferrand, La Jetée. "Sauve Qui Peut Le Court Metrage", the "Studio cinématographique", the center of the short film festival.
Coordinates: 45°46'38" N 3°5'21" E
Reason: Not a specific reason at all. This second best "52-Weeks" selfportrait is made during my 3-day road trip to the city of Clermont-Ferrand to visit, capture and flash (by the online game FlashInvaders) all space invaders of Clermont-Ferrand.
Official "52" of this week: 15/52 Pelloche Ciné
Weather: Almost sunny, 14° C
Self-portrait technics: Joby portable gorillapod mounted on a street pole, selftimer on 10 seconds.
PA_594 [30 points]
The online application game FlashInvaders means in mosts cases I have to revisit space invaders I have seen and captured in the past. PA_594 is no exception to this. Still active. An up to date zoom-in, the previous one of 2006 was a bit blurry.

PA_312 [10 points]
As far as I remember and hunt on space invaders in Paris and beyond (the year 2005) I have seen only seen this space invader for more than 35 percent destroyed. Not flashable on the online game smartphone application FlashInvaders untill June 2015 when of the space invader fans in Paris restored PA_312 and made it 'flashable' again. A perfect job with exactly the same tiles (color, size, material). Two reasons for this revisit: to see this one in full glory and in order to win 10 points in the FlashInvaders game.

THE INVASION OF CLERMONT-FERRAND
The first (two?) invasion wave(s) of the center of Clermont-Ferrand occured in the year 2000 and consisted 8 space invaders, 4 of them are still there (including 1 re-activation) and flashable.
In January 2016 Clermont-Ferrand was invaded again, the 3rd invasion wave took place:
"At the occasion of the screening of the very last version of the movie Art4Sspace at the Interntional Short Film Festival of Clermont-Ferrand, I have added 31 new creations to the city of the center of France. Among various themes, they refer to movies and cinema but also to what Clermont Ferrand is famous for : its gothic cathedrale, its volcanos, its Michelin factories and its Serge Gainsbourg street" (Invader)
PA_1468 [50 points]
After a silence of more than 9 months, Invader is again active in the Paris area. After the invasion wave in Potesi (Bolivia) with 53 space invaders (total 2030 points) including the 4000th at 4000 meters altitude and as the 80th city it remained silent in Paris. Until the end of March.when this PA_1468 was installed.
For me PA_1468 was the 1216th space invader fount in Paris (of 1468). And this PA_1468 was number 4053 in the world and my flash was flash numer 13,187,220 and there were 210,969 players on this morning of 02/04/2022.
