A re-activated space invader in the 17ème arrondissement of which I have never seen the original before. The original looks more yellow than orange. One of the space invaders I found in March, one week before the lock down (sounds more beautiful in French; confinement, but the result is the same).

On a space invader hunt in the Southern banlieu of Paris Issy-les-Moulineaux, by tramway T2...
Location: Station Les Moulineaux of tramway T2 between Porte de Versailles and Pont de Bezons.
Coordinates: 48°82'14" N 2°25'10" E
Reason: I went here on this evening to flash and capture space invader PA_1416. A bit remote space invader in the beautiful commune Issy-les-Moulineaux South West of Paris. It was my 1223e space invader flashed and the 1028th in Paris. And the ride with T2 is always fun.
PA_1416: soon a link here
Issy-les-Moulineaux: Issy-les-Moulineaux is a commune in the southwestern suburban area of Paris, France, lying on the left bank of the river Seine. It is one of Paris entrances and is located 6.6 km from Notre-Dame Church, which is considered Kilometre Zero of France. On 1 January 2010, Issy-les-Moulineaux became part of the Grand Paris Seine Ouest agglomeration community, which merged into the Métropole du Grand Paris in January 2016.
Population: 69 K, Elevation: 28–96 m
Tramway T2: Île-de-France tramway Line 2 (usually called simply T2) is part of the modern tram network of the Île-de-France region of France. Line T2 connects Paris-Porte de Versailles and Pont de Bezons serving notably the La Défense business district on its way. The line has a length of 17.9 km and 24 stations. The initial section between La Défense and Issy–Val de Seine station opened in July 1997 uses a former heavy rail line converted into light rail whereas the further extensions on both ends opened in November 2009 and November 2012 feature segregated on-street running.
Line T2 is operated by the RATP under the authority of Île-de-France Mobilités.
Because of the success of this line (115,000 people use it daily) the trams were doubled in length in 2005, raising the capacity of each tram to 440 passengers. There are 66 trams of the series 401-466 made by Alsthom (type Citadis 302). On the photo here tram 411.

In the spring of 2017, 20 space invaders were placed in the Moroccan capital in four days (15/03/2017 to 18/03/2017), of which there are currently (* August 2025) 9 left. My score is 8/20 as we didn't know the location of RBA_14 during our hunt.
This RBA_17 is a space invader in an iconic location with Tour Hassan in the background. Tour Hassan is the minaret of an incomplete mosque in Rabat, Morocco. It was commissioned by Abu Yusuf Yaqub al-Mansur, the third caliph of the Almohad Caliphate, near the end of the 12th century. The tower was intended to be the largest minaret in the world, and the mosque, if completed, would have been the largest in the western Muslim world. When al-Mansur died in 1199, construction on the mosque stopped. The minaret was left standing at a height of 44 meters.

In the year 2007 Invader has invaded the entire coast of the French Rivièra. Instead of only one city he made a project of an entire region; Côte d’Azur. Spread out from La Ciotat to the Menton near the border of Italy.
The first wave consisted of 35 space invaders spread out over 24 cities with a total score of 990 points. In 2016 Invader put one invader up in Cavalaire-sur-Mer (CAZ_36) and in 2017 wave number 3 consisted another single one (CAZ_37).

In the early years Invader used this technique quite often. Tiles were burned into the asphalt or bitumen. The first one ever was PA_116 in the Marais, made in November 1998. The last one was PA_387 in February 2001 in the 17ème arrondissement.

This brown and cream colored invader seems not well placed by Invader. A bit crooked and the bottom left has already been released. The location is however great!
And see who is reflecting in the mirror, me!

PA_038 [10 points]
There are beautiful things going on on the walls of Paris. Long gone space invaders are popping up again after years of absence. This PA_38 (or PA_038 or even PA_0038 as you wish) has been scraped off the wall in April 2007 but is back to life thanks to one of the (many) fans of space invaders and players of the game FlashInvaders.
