Almost 5 years after the invasion of the other side by PA_872 (invasion date 03/08/2010, 50 points) the 'B-side' has invaded as well. Same invader, but inverted colors (the other side has a black space invader with a red flash!).

I have encountered this space invader already back in November 2005. The wall was repainted and they painted over this one as well. It is said that there was a period when the invader was visible in the original colors because the wall was sandblasted, but in November 2007 the invader was finally removed from the wall. I missed this 2016 re-activation. Due to the low activity of Invader in 2021 and early 2022, I have the time to find, flash and photograph all space invaders that have never been visited.

The last space invader during this stay in Marseille. In total I flashed 46 new space invaders (worth 1710 points on FlashInvaders). This invader is located in the market area of Marseille and it shows.

One the biggest projects of Invader in the year 2006 in Paris was this PA_689. About 18 space invaders on a row. Estimated format: 18,5 meters wide, 16 centimeters high. Totally about 7300 mosaïque tiles used for this one.

Not only all Amsterdammers have to wear a face mask to protect themselves and others for COVID-19. This Amsterdam statue also wears a mouth mask neatly. An unknown person climbed on the pedestal of De Stedemaagd to provide it with a mouth mask. The well-known statue at the entrance of the Vondelpark at the Max Euweplein is a personification of our city. Sitting on a chair, she invites people to enter the Vondelpark with her right hand. In her left hand she is holding a shield with the coat of arms of our city. And together withs space invader AMS_26.

The sea resort town of La Ciotat has been invaded as well. As we speak (January 2016) a total of 9 invaders installed during 4 waves. This one with FlashInvader colors was installed in the Summer of 2014. Just for the record, it was my personal 350th space invader flashed with the application FlashInvaders.

It goes without saying that the most famous street artist of Paris, France or even the world Invader also contributed to the Capitale(s) exhibition at Hôtel de Ville in Paris.
For this exhibition, Invader worked it out in such a way that he installed his 1475th space invader in Paris here (along with his 1474th) and that the total points of all space invaders in Paris would be 40,000. And all this in the year he placed his 4000th space invader in Potosie (Bolivia).

A second cryptopunk space invader landed in Paris. This time in the 18ème arrondissement in the quartier Goutte d'Or above the Olympic Café.
CryptoPunks is a non-fungible token (NFT) collection on the Ethereum blockchain. The project was launched in June 2017 by the Larva Labs studio, a two-person team consisting of Canadian software developers Matt Hall and John Watkinson. The experimental project was inspired by the London punk scenes, the cyberpunk movement, and electronic music artists Daft Punk. There are 10,000 unique CryptoPunks (6,039 male and 3,840 female), all of which are made digitally scarce through the use of blockchain technology. Each one was algorithmically generated through computer code and thus no two characters are exactly alike, with some traits being rarer than others.

Mosaic art at ESA’s ESRIN Earth observation centre near Rome, Italy, placed under a mockup of Europe's launcher for small satellites Vega. French artist Invader is installing his art at ESA establishments around Europe and even on the International Space Station.
ESA has been monitoring Earth with its environmental satellites since the 1970s, keeping a constant watch over our planet by analysing satellite data to protect our environment.
The first space invader mosaic art was found by ESA astronaut Samantha Cristoforetti during her mission on the International Space Station. She installed ‘Space2’ in Europe’s Columbus space laboratory. Since then, space-themed art has appeared at the European Astronaut Centre in Cologne, Germany, at our Redu Centre in Belgium, our space operations centre in Germany and ESA’s technical heart in the Netherlands, and it even took over our headquarters in Paris, France.
Download a free app by the artist to spot and collect Invader art at ESA establishments and all over the world. Gain points by taking pictures of the mosaics and compare your scores.

Marseille is the capital of Pastis and the most iconic pastis brand is "51". Love this one near the Vieux Port and La Canabière.
Till August 2020 I found and flashed all 13 space invaders of wave 1 (MARS_01 - MARS_11 - 2004 and wave 2 (MARS_12 and MARS_13). But during wave 3 in August 2020 the number of space invaders went up to 97. In total 84 space invaders on my list again.

Invader must be a good fan of the Jamel Comedy Club on the Boulevard de Bonne Nouvelle in the 10ème arrondissement in Paris. The Jamel Comedy Club is a 26-minute weekly television program created, produced and presented by Jamel Debbouze, broadcast free-to-air on the Canal+ channel every Saturday in the summer, from 2006 to 2008. The first broadcast took place on 15 July 2006.

In March 2025 I had to in London for work. I took the opportunity to do two space invader walks. The afternoon and evening of 17/03 I added 9 space invaders on my list and on 20/03 I added another 8 so in total 17 London space invaders during these days in London.
This 'space target' has seen its fair share over the years and is heavily battered. On the corner of Chesterhouse Street and Farringdone Road. Part of the 4th wave of the invasion of London.

Exactly 26 years after installing the first space invader PA_01, Invader has placed the 1500th space invader in Paris at the top of nowhere other than Center Pompidou. This coincided with the Invader Space Station exhibition in the former Libération newspaper building near Place de la République.

I think this is the second re-activation in the history of this 19th space invader in Paris and in the world. Better quality than the previous attempt to re-activate this blue on red invader of the very first generation.

One the few new space invaders in the 16ème arrondissement of Paris. If you like the haute couture of Valentino combined with space invaders, this is the one!
Taken on an early morning in December, should come back for another shot in full sunlight in Spring.

Stewart busy with flashing and photographing the space invader on the beach of La Ciotat (Plage Cyrnos).
We didn't have the time to hunt for some other space invaders in La Ciotat. We know there are a few more including a good re-activated one.
