FlashInvader players are everywhere. Even this one year ago re-activated cyclope in Le Panier has at least one two fans at the same time including myself.
Marseille has been invaded 13 times devided in 3 invasion waves and the total points in Marseille is 220 points. The first invasion wave took place in the Summer of 2004 with in total 9 space invaders (2019)

MARS_90 [50 points]
One of the two space invaders outside Cité Radieuse in the quartier Sainte-Anne. Best seen from the roof of Hotel Le Corbusier where the exposition Invasion Planete Marseille took place. Invader was invited to do a site specific installation at MaMo, the arts center created by Ora-ïto atop of La Cité Radieuse in Marseille. For the occasion, I have turned the exhibition space into an strategic base and pushed back the symbolic and physical limits of the place by carrying out an exhibition-invasion at the scale of the entire city of Marseille.
Till August 2020 I found and flashed all 13 space invaders of wave 1 (MARS_01 - MARS_11 - 2004 and wave 2 (MARS_12 and MARS_13). But during wave 3 in August 2020 the number of space invaders went up to 97. In total 84 space invaders on my list again.

Another re-activated space invader of which I have never seen the original because it was gone before my passion for space invaders. This one came back during the covid-19 period of lockdowns, curfews, restrictions and almost no time in Paris. But I got him, more than 8 months after its re-activation.

Another new but old space invader in Rotterdam. This black one with a red reflector in the middle was presumed 'dead' for years but in fact it was hidden safely behind a billboard which have been removed recently. It was already considered 'lost' by Invader as RTD_17 had to be re-activated again in the online application game FlashInvaders.
I accompanied JoeTheCrab with 'flashing' all active space invaders in Rotterdam (8) and Amsterdam (9). It was lots of fun all the way along the space invaders. Re-activating RTD_17 was part of the tour. And this one was new for me as well.

THE INVASION OF ROTTERDAM
In the year 2001 the city of Rotterdam has been invaded by Invader. In 4 days Invader put 26 space invaders (1 hidden bonus) on the walls of Rotterdam. Sometimes hidden sometimes on very visible locations. I took some photos earlier but never put them on Flickr. Eight of the in total 25 space invader are still 'active' in 2015. Two were deleted in 2014 and 2 old new ones came back active (one re-activation and one became visible again due to the removal of a small billboard where it was hidden behind). Rotterdam was the 8th invaded city in the world.

When I flashed this space invader it was the 11,320,806th 'flash' in FlashInvaders and FlashInvaders had 186,806 players at this moment (2021-09-28 18h29 Central European Summer Time (UTC+2) )

My 16th space invader I encountered in the city of Rotterdam. Never seen the original before but thanks to the team of re-activators this one is visible and flashable again. Surrounded by skyscrapers and near the famous Erasmusbrug (bridge), this one is worth the trip!

In the year 2001 the city of Rotterdam has been invaded by Invader. In 4 days Invader put 26 space invaders (1 hidden bonus) on the walls of Rotterdam. This space invader (location) has a rich history since the invasion in the year 2011. After it has been deleted it was replaced by a mosaïque made by LEGO tiles in the same year. After its removal in 2012 we haven't seen PA_968 till it's (second) re-activation.

This 50 points worth blue big space invader along the A557 became a personal milestone for FlashInvaders for me as this was my 1400th space invader flashed since I started this online game in 2015. Point of view is the pedestrian bridge next to the métro station Bougainville.
Till August 2020 I found and flashed all 13 space invaders of wave 1 (MARS_01 - MARS_11 - 2004 and wave 2 (MARS_12 and MARS_13). But during wave 3 in August 2020 the number of space invaders went up to 97. In total 84 space invaders on my list again.

One of the results of the re-activation wave of the Summer of 2018 is also this cyclope near Cours Julien, the street art walhallah of Marseille.
Thanks to the re-activation wave in Marseille I was able to flash all 13 space invaders of Marseille (August 2019).

A classic sized framed 2D space invader on the corner of the Rue Paradis and Rue Grignan in the center of Marseille.
Till August 2020 I found and flashed all 13 space invaders of wave 1 (MARS_01 - MARS_11 - 2004 and wave 2 (MARS_12 and MARS_13). But during wave 3 in August 2020 the number of space invaders went up to 97. In total 84 space invaders on my list again.
