Finally I have a better close-up of PA_584 in the only street in Paris named after my hometown in the Netherlands. This Pac Man was the last invader I flashed during my 3 day stay in Paris in the Summer of 2020 after the lockdown. The score is that I flashed in total 40 space invaders (new, re-activated and never revisited older invaders) worth in total 1070 points and I went up in rank from 505 to 454.
My total score is now 38,740 points, 1,336 invaders of which 1,138 out of 1,446 in Paris. On 20/07/2020 there were more than 136,670 FlashInvaders players.

Because of the addictive online game 'FlashInvaders' I feel myself urged to revisit a lot of Paris space invaders. Also this one on a not so beautiful location hidden behind Gare Saint-Lazare in the 8ème arrondissement. This Pac Man space invader is almost 10 years active and still in good shape. Invader did a lot of Pac Mans around 2005 and this one is one of the examples which is still visible and "flashable".

A camera roll (peolloche) featuring the one and only space invader circling around the planet Earth in the short movie by Invader Art4Space.
I met Manon and Bastian from the area Aix-en-Provence again this afternoon. We flashed CLR_01 together 2 hours before and met again. They came back for a full sunlight photo of this one near the station of Clermont-Ferrand.

THE INVASION OF CLERMONT-FERRAND
The first (two?) invasion wave(s) of the center of Clermont-Ferrand occured in the year 2000 and consisted 8 space invaders, 4 of them are still there (including 1 re-activation) and flashable.
In January 2016 Clermont-Ferrand was invaded again, the 3rd invasion wave took place:
"At the occasion of the screening of the very last version of the movie Art4Sspace at the Interntional Short Film Festival of Clermont-Ferrand, I have added 31 new creations to the city of the center of France. Among various themes, they refer to movies and cinema but also to what Clermont Ferrand is famous for : its gothic cathedrale, its volcanos, its Michelin factories and its Serge Gainsbourg street" (Invader)

MARS_82 [20 points]
Cours Julien was already invaded during the first wave in 2004 with two invaders but during the third invasion Invader came back to install this one of the wall on the Escaliers du Cours Julien.
Till August 2020 I found and flashed all 13 space invaders of wave 1 (MARS_01 - MARS_11 - 2004 and wave 2 (MARS_12 and MARS_13). But during wave 3 in August 2020 the number of space invaders went up to 97. In total 84 space invaders on my list again.

CAZ_10 [10 points]
Not that many beaches in the world have been 'invaded' by Invader. One of the 48 beaches of Antibes has been invaded. This one is the result of a re-activation as the original of 2007 had been deleted. Had to wait half an hour for direct sunlight which was no problem, waiting at the waterfront was not a problem. Parking was a huge problem here. "WELL PLAYED" is the message of FlashInvaders when you find this one.

INVASION OF THE CÔTE D’AZUR
In the year 2007 Invader has invaded the entire coast of the French Rivièra. Instead of only one city he made a project of an entire region; Côte d’Azur. Spread out from La Ciotat to the Menton near the border of Italy.
The first wave consisted of 35 space invaders spread out over 24 cities with a total score of 990 points. In 2016 Invader put one invader up in Cavalaire-sur-Mer (CAZ_36) and in 2017 wave number 3 consisted another single one (CAZ_37).
Lots of them have been deleted throughout the years but there are already are about 9 space invaders re-activated.

A re-activated 2-D space invader right accross Centre Pompidou. At the time I fount this one for the first time I estimated the year of invasion 2004 or 2005. FlashInvaders was not live at that time and the second edition of the Invasion of Paris 2.0 was not issued as well.

The first space invader I found in London ever. As we speak (June 2019) London has in total 150 space invaders, invaded during 18 waves. The first wave was in June 1999.
This 'space target' near Leicester Square and Charing Cross was part of the 4th wave (LDN_64 thru LDN_75).

The famous French tricouleur appeared as a space invader in the 2nd arrondissement of Paris. How French can an invasion be? In 2011 however this one was deleted and therefor never 'flashable' with the application game FlashInvaders introduced in 2014. But thanks to the outstanding job of the re-activators this one is back in the street where it belongs and flashable.

A space invader made out of big tiles which are in terms of color completely integrated with the colors of the store. This was the first space invader in Paris after another wave in Los Angeles where during the 10th wave 16 new space invaders were added to this Californian city. PA_1372 was worlds 3707th space invader.
Green is the color in this picture, even the Vélib' passing by.

The national drink of the Provence is pastis (in local colloquial language called pastaga). This invader is a pastis themed space invader on the label 51. This wall features also work of LMDLDZR (aka LeMoDuLeDeZeeR).

For years I thought this one has been deleted till Denis invited me to flash this one in the early morning of 11 February 2015. PA_683 hasn't been deleted at all but is hidden behind a marquise of bar restaurant La Dernière Séance which name is quite appropriate for this early morning adventure. Despite of the fact that I just started with the game FlashInvaders I was invited by Denis to join with some fellow space invader hunters, the 'Top 10' scorers of that game to 'flash' the hidden PA_683. My overnight for work in Paris allowed me to gather with the other space invader enthusiasts at 06h30 in the early cold Paris morning. A ladder was arranged with enables the others to scan Q-Bert PA_683 which is normally hidden from view.

Once again I like to thank Denis and the others for their invitation to share this special occasion to flash this one and to talk to the other pixel fans. I smiled the whole day as an after glow of this early morning space invader adventure.
I'm impressed by the scores of the 'Top 10' of the FlashInvaders game, number one has already scanned 750 space invaders (worth 22,200 points) and the others follow him with already more than 500 space invaders at least. I'm at rank 347 at the moment with 50 space invaders found (in 3 cities) and 1,680 points (13/02/2015).
PA_329 [20 points]
A reflecteye space invader in the 18ème arrondissement of Paris. Never seen the original but thanks to the brilliant work of the R-Team ('re-activation team') this blue space man is back in the streets of Paris, visible and flashable again. The FlashInvader message of this one is "LIKE A BOSS".

PA_288 [10 points]
One of the re-activators has qualified him or herself re-invading on the bitume surfaces on the sidewalks and roads of Paris. This is a good example of that. Some tiles were already missing but still visible and flashable and can be considered "in the pocket"/"dans la boîte".

I captured this mirror eyed 'videogame' space invader for the first time in July 2005 without taking a close-up shot. Made in 1999 and desactivated in 2014 and had a come back in 2015 and after another disparition we are looking at the third edition of PA_211. With finally a good close-up.
