D&H train 700, a unit sulfuric acid train to Baltimore, was rolling along Conrail's Reading Line in Lyons, Pennsylvania on a milky-white sky day in 1995.
A pair of dual flag CP Rail SD40-2s bookend a GATX leased SD40-2 towards Philadelphia, where it is always sunny.
From Philly to B-more, the train would travel on CSX rails.
Chasing 4 Soo Line geeps down the former ICE. Didn't think I'd get the opportunity to see this again...

Friday Flashback.
Tri-X 400, Minolta SRT.
I started the evening photographing a pear but that was a little too normal so I flicked the camera into bulb mode and turned the lights out.
I swiped the rainbow paper accross the frame lit with a torch then back lit myself with my flash on full power ,gelled deep orange then replaced the lens cap. Moved to tripod number two which was pointing at the black fiber optic lp brush. Changed aperture on the manual Sammy to F2 and exposed for 1 second before rotating the camera 90 degrees and repeating.
Minor levels work in Lr and job done.
This is number 306 of my 366.
Sam has been a real cutie from day one. Not a day has gone by since we got him that he hasn't made me smile. He was the runt of the litter but turned out to be bigger than we thought he would with a personality that melts your heart
Seeing these boys took me back 60 plus years to the same beach I used to play at building fort's or raft's and generally having fun. Nice to see kids out playing instead of being stuck inside glued to electronic games.

:) My father in law has been a photographer for years. These are some of his old cameras.
The oldest one, that one that's black and in the upper left corner, that's his oldest. That one has been passed through his family for generations.
PRLX 2856, built as a Southern Pacific SD45T-2 in 1972 and rebuilt as a SD40T-2 somewhere along the way was the surprise meat in a Burner Sammich at the east end of Bensenville on a grimy day.
With the current motive power situation around here, it was a bit unexpected to stumble upon a Tunnel Motor in 2017.

This photo was taken by an Asahi Pentax 6 X 7 medium format film camera and Super-Mult-Coated Takumar/6X7 1:4.5/75mm lens with a Asahi Pentax 6 X 7 82ø L39(UV) filter using Kodak Portra 160 film, the negative scanned by an Epson Perfection V600 and digitally rendered with Photoshop.
- "Have you played Another World 2?"
The year was 1993 and I was 15 years old. I had recently bought an Amiga 500 and I was visiting a friend to copy some games.
- "Another World 2? I haven't heard about that" I said, but it sounded to good to miss out on, so I copied it. Later when I started it up on my Amiga I was a bit disappointed when the game was not "Another World 2", like I suspected, but some game called "Flashback". The opening sequence was amazing and then the game started. I was hooked. Flashback is one of my all time favourite games. I actually bought the original game later. The first time I did that. I learned the hard way that new Amiga games on floppy disk wheren't write protected. So I got the Saddam-virus on my game disks and couldn't play it :(
I've replayed the game multiple times on many different platforms. I never grow tired of it.
I was very excited this summer when "Flashback 2" Was announced. Developed by Paul Cuisset's Miroids. They all seem to have forgotten that there was actually an official sequel called "Fade to Black" released in 1995, but I don't care. Just bring me more "Flashback", please! It will be released in "Winter 2022"... ok not many days left of winter 2022 now Microids. When is the release date?!

Here is a small tribute to one of the best games ever. Conrad Hart on his hoverbike.
Purists beware! This MOC contains a part with removed prints.
Since today is Friday the 13th this Flashback Friday will follow today's theme by showcasing Jason from Friday the 13th.
This figure was a custom one off made in late October or early November. I'd seen other Jason Minifigures in the past and wanted to make this one a little different so I made the hockey mask by printing on a modified signal paddle.
After removing the handle from the paddle head I drilled a hole in a minifigure head and attached the modified signal paddle.
Once attached I gently heated the plastic with a heat gun and molded the plastic to shape the paddle to the head.
Once the plastic was cool again I removed the paddle, now a blank mask, from the head and printed the design. The band around the head is a modified BrickForge Goggle strap and both the finished mask and goggle strap were permanently affixed to the head.
I didn't have any machetes on hand so I modified what was probably an Orc sword.
Torso and Legs are stock printed parts.
Customer was happy, I was happy and the figure turned out better than either of us expected.

Looking like a scene from the 1950s, CNJ F3A No. 56D emerges from the short tunnel under Route 93 in Nesquehoning PA on the Hometown Branch with a compact passenger train. The covered wagon is actually an ex-BAR unit operating on 5 July 1991 with a Panther Valley passenger excursion.

Amy --- This isn't our first time. We're professionals.
Rylan --- We impersonate people for a living. Don't sweat a thing.
Brie --- So, if you don't mind me asking... Why are you all taking off?
Christie --- Just a little get away. Doing our own thing.
Brie --- Why not just tell everyone you're going on vacation?
Christie --- Well it's a little more than a vacation. I thought it'd be nice for Drew to get away till all the drama and whispers settled down.
Rylan --- Ah, since you... [he looks down at the clipboard to see her profile] pulled a Runaway Bride at your wedding.
Ryan --- Dude!
Rylan --- Hey... it's in her profile.
Drew ---- Yeah, I just need some time away from everything.
Brie --- So why not just tell everyone that? Wouldn't it be simpler that way?
Christie --- What is this? 21 questions!
Brie --- Just curious.
Drew --- [she turns to Christie & Ryan] Are you guys sure about this?
Amy--- No need to worry. When you come back everything will be just fine.
Christie --- [she puts her hand on Drew's shoulder] You hear that? No worries! Everything will be just fine.
[Drew, Christie and Ryan finish going over all their information with "the Gangers" then leave for their trip]
