I'm still getting bad flashbacks of this beautiful body :D

I'm very proud of the amazing bokeh I got in this one, I look very pale but that's because if that I had to lower the saturation in my face coz it was very cold. Hope you enjoy.

Snow depth as of today, 125" in the mountains. It'll be a while before resuming the fun shoots.

Ready for Halloween and seen dreaming at the Flashbacks Vintage closing store www.flashbackintime.com/ in Hillcrest ~

A series of 5 "flashbacks"created with Bryce & edited with PaintShop Pro(my new toy!!!)...My daughter is going to see Lynard Skynard & Marshall Tucker. She knows Skynard, but she wanted to familiarize herself with Marshall Tucker. Going thru those songs on YouTube along with a bunch of other good old music, transported me back to the '70's...thus, this flashbackseries. Hope you enjoy my trip back in time!!!=0)

Another re-work of a 2012 image. Shot at the southern end of Turimetta beach, Sydney Australia. On this side of the rock shelf with the right swell you get some nice water movement without the danger of salt spray.

Nikon D7000, Sigma 10-20mm.

Foto de hace 2 años por Tiare en el Parque Japonés de La Serena.

The image shows a corner of what appears to be a vintage shop or cafe.

The focal point is a dark brown wooden cabinet with glass doors, containing various items such as old records or papers. On top sits a vintage karaoke machine. Above the cabinet, a glass-fronted display case holds a collection of beer bottles. To the right of the cabinet, a small, dark-colored Red Bull mini-fridge rests on a simple wooden stool.

The walls are aged, with visible cracks and imperfections, contributing to an overall vintage or retro aesthetic. Plants are visible, adding a touch of life to the space. A "No Smoking" sign is prominently displayed. The overall mood is dark, moody, and nostalgic, suggesting a feeling of history and perhaps slow, quiet contemplation. The scene suggests a place that blends old and new, with the modern mini-fridge contrasting nicely against the vintage furniture and decor.

Snow depth as of today, 125" in the mountains. It'll be a while before resuming the fun shoots.

Another re-work of a 2012 image. Shot at the southern end of Turimetta beach, Sydney Australia. This was taken at the very southern edge of the rock shelf before it becomes the Narrabeen side. One of those mornings where the colour in the sky just detonated across the clouds.

Our youngest daughter was cleaning out some of her possessions that are still stored at our house and found this. It had been taken in 1974 and attached to my application for a required identity card issued by the Moroccan government. I taught there 1974-1975.

I had an hour before a math test and decided to play around in photoshop instead of studying last minute. I wanted to try an old photo look and it turned out more or less like I wanted.

During the mid 1930’s, Cremo had strongly established itself as the number one 5¢ Cigar in America. The popularity of the brand was fast tracked when George Washington Hill (owner) decided to sponsor the up-and-coming superstar Bing Crosby, who was the number one singer in America at the time, with ten hits in the top fifty charts! Cremo became Crosby’s first of many radio sponsors; they even aired a show called 15 Minutes with Bing Crosby, which transmitted on CBS in New York City from 7:00-7:15pm, 6 times a week. During this time frame, Crosby was known as “The Cremo Singer” with a multitude of cigar commercials running during Crosby’s program.

Fooling around in photoshop to create this image. I started with the background photo of Waimanalo on the island of Oahu in Hawaii taken from inside an old World War II pillbox above Makapu'u Beach Park. The photo of the plane was taken at the 2012 Kaneohe Bay Air Show and is of a U.S. Navy SNJ (AT-6). I brought the two photos together in photoshop to produce what you see above.

Reminds me of a peacock I saw in 1967, but that's another story. This one was in our front yard today.
