We All Start Somewhere …
Do you remember the first outfit you put together for your avatar? If you still have some of those oldies but goodies in your inventory, why not dust them off for posterity and show up to the Flashback Party at the SL13B Cake Stage on Wednesday, June 22, from 7 - 9 pm SLT? Wear something old and bring your oldest Second Life friend - the plan is to celebrate the past in all its glory and share some amazing stories from the Second Life days of yore. Dancing, music, and some good old-fashioned nostalgia - it’

Didn't have loads of paint or special caps but we made it happen.
and I fall, on my knees
tell me how's the way to be
tell me how's the way to go
tell me all that I should know.
A series of 5 "flashbacks"created with Bryce & edited with PaintShop Pro(my new toy!!!)...My daughter is going to see Lynard Skynard & Marshall Tucker. She knows Skynard, but she wanted to familiarize herself with Marshall Tucker. Going thru those songs on YouTube along with a bunch of other good old music, transported me back to the '70's...thus, this flashbackseries. Hope you enjoy my trip back in time!!!=0)
A flashback to the Summer of 2017 when I visited Montana and stumbled upon this manifest in Bozeman with a MRL SD40-2XR in charge.
A picture from our last major snowfall, although I have had a female Varied Thrush hanging around since then.... waiting to see what today's snow brings to the yard.
Recently, I helped out with a series of vignettes based on the new Ninjago Movie minifig series for Brick Fanatics. It was a fun project, and I got to work with some other great builders, such as frequent collaborator Daniel Konstanski.
I just bought this Testrite Zenith 35, 35mm enlarger, just like the one I got in 1962 from Sears. This one is in new condition, in the original box. Bulb still works, too.
I don't know what happened to my original one but this is a beauty.

This photo of Ian and Johnny was taken back in 2007. Ian was 42 years old and Johnny was only 4 days old. It just seems like yesterday when this photo was taken.
Sam has enjoyed being a bit of an acrobat his whole life. He's getting a little too old to do these things anymore but every now and then he surprises me.

These are some more photos taken the other week. Think of them as my 80's tribute. Shhh, I grew up in the 80's and I so wanted a dress like this back then. Crushed velvet, figure hugging, short.. strangely enough I didn't get one.
Thought that the naff photo quality looked quite 80's as well, having just looked at some older pics from back then.
So, this is what Becky would have looked like in the 80's... big hair a must :)
Although I would have been a lot younger, hmmm... think there is a lesson to be learnt here... don't waste your life.. follow your heart, be true to yourself.. yada yada yada! Now I must follow my own advice sometime... anyone got a time machine they can lend me for the last 20 years or so?
Sommer Flashback

These photos are from a luau/wedding renewal ceremony my sister and I put together in 2006 for a couple that has since gone their separate ways and I think even left town!
However, many of our characters remain: The town's walking archive Don Buzzle finds himself surrounded for a photo with lovely women who feel sorry for the old fellow. Meanwhile, "Booley" and "Rat" are in the bottom photo, recognized for their help in organizing this feat.
This was so much fun to put together that we hope to do another again --and special thanks to my mom, who let us completely take over her study for that entire weekend!
Waiting at Wadsworth, I wondered back to the third unit in our consist. Not good to ride in, but cool to photograph. 2006-08
