Continuing my project to re-work some images from 2012. One of the best sunrises I've seen over Long Reef, which coincidentally I'm going to shoot tomorrow. Fingers crossed for something like this !

Peter shoves through a crowd of people... "N-...n-...No.... no... no no no..." Peter cries... "Hey... It's okay, Pete... just... remember me..." Uncle Ben states, with his last few breaths... "...of course..." Peter replies, tears going down his face... "I know you'll be a great hero someday... but remember... wi-... *cough*... with great power... comes great responsibility..." Uncle Ben explains... His eyes close, and he stops breathing... Peter's sobbing, grabbing onto Uncle Ben...

Katar floated in the air, his mace in hand. The man's eyes narrowed as he stared down his opponent, who still stood astonished by the display. Winged Thanagarians had been so ridiculed, to see one use his wings as an advantage astounded him.
"So, you spread your wings, huh?" he asked, looking up to the man. "No matter, it will be as simple as killing a hawk."
Katar grit his teeth, diving forward. His mace struck Hro's chest, sending him back a few meters. As Hro recovered he swung his own, missing due to Katar's height. Swooping down once more, Katar hit his opponent in the shin, knocking him to the ground.
As he flew past after his attack, he felt a shark, gutterel pain shoot through his body. His wings went limp, causing him to crash to the ground hard. Looking back, he saw what caused the pain. A dagger lodged in the base of his right wing. His hand moved to pull the blade out, but ceased as a boot slammed onto it.
"You think I don't know of your kind's weakness?" asked Hro, as he ground his foot into Katar's hand.
The foot lifted, kicking his head. As his helmet rolled off, Katar looked up to see a boot slam into his face, knocking him unconscious.

Katar awoke to the sound of metal slamming to the ground. Looking up, he saw the Green Lanterns as well as Princess Shayera.
"What… what happened?" he asked, staring at his rescuers.
John formed a buzzsaw and began cutting the chains as he spoke, "You lost the duel. He hit you in your weak spot."
Katar looked down, knowing he failed. His head tilted up as a female voice spoke, "Don't blame yourself. You did all you could." Princess Shayera knelt down, placing her hand on his. The moment she did, the two's eyes lit up a golden yellow.
Memories, lifetimes soared through their minds. Soldiers, scientists, heroes, outlaws… hundreds of lives that they lived… on earth? They saw it all. One lifetime that contained them as police officers. One where they were famous outlaw vigilantes. Soldiers in a war, pirates that scourged the seas, doctors who healed the sick, plaguebearers that poisoned the world.
It all led to the final memory. Crash landing in Egypt. Becoming royalty. Birthing a child. The traitor that poisoned them, only to have birthed them with eternal life.
Their eyes dimmed, coming back to their senses. The Lanterns surrounded the two, confused by the event.
"What just happened? I'm very lost." Admitted Guy, who scratched his head.
Katar ignored him, looking to Shayera, "Sh-Shayera?"
Shayera didn't answer, only moving in to kiss him. John's eyes widened, Hal and Guy exhibiting the same emotion. She pulled away, looking him in the eye. "Let's go home… our real home."
Takes us back to 2006. I am riding in the the second unit, CP 5978. We are about to pass Jeff at Rondout tower. He was one of the only operators to give us a platform roll-by every time.
A student conductor, trainmaster and an engineer are filling the seats of the lead unit SOO 6022. I had the STRESSFUL job of riding in the second unit on a sunny day watching trains go by.......
FR-26 was one of six Republic RF-84F Thunderflash aircraft purchased by Belgium in 1963 to cover for attrition losses. It was retired in 1970 and bought for preservation here at Savigny in 1988.
In all, Belgium received 34 such aircraft.

June 2007, and MD60 makes its first journey since around 1983.
Now fully restored to a better than new condition, it gained its PSV Class 6 MOT earlier today :-)
Back when we first got Monty he and Maggie would run together everywhere. They were so much fun to watch.

CSX M580 screams along Nickajack lake with a recently rebuilt CSX SD70MAC on the point with an older CSX AC4400CW trailing second. If you didn’t know that the MAC was in YN3C, you would have thought this was the early 2000s
Found this old picture of when I was 17....oh to be 17 again.... I won't be leaving this photo up long, don't worry!
I'm very proud of the amazing bokeh I got in this one, I look very pale but that's because if that I had to lower the saturation in my face coz it was very cold. Hope you enjoy.
