I took this while on the Staten Island Ferry back when I went on my New York trip in April.
I've been going through a bunch of old photos lately and this was one of the few I decided to post.
I LOVE this photo.
I don't even know who this person is, but I just so happened to look out the side of the boat and saw this.
I thought it was a perfect moment.
This guy was just, "hanging out" so to speak.
He unintentionally gave me a great shot.

Another re-work of a 2012 image. Shot at the southern end of Turimetta beach, Sydney Australia. Every year this rock shelf gets covered in a thick green moss which provides some great colour contrast on grey mornings like this.

Freightliner class 66 number 66518 hauls a train of 18 now redundant coal wagons past Copmanthorpe with the 6D66 0925 York Yard South (Fhh) to Shirebrook Davis & Son. After a long period of storage I anticipate that the wagons are to be repurposed into aggregate box wagons.
A February flashback, just in case anyone starts complaining about it getting too hot this week HFF!

This Magnolia Warbler is currently "vacationing" in the tropics. This image is a flashback to last May when he was on his journey north. The shortest day of the year occurred this past weekend, so we are now on the upswing side, adding a tiny bit of daylight each day! Only 5 more months till these little golden feather beacons will be back in our midst. -•••-
