I'm not sure if I posted this one - don't want to be boring.

Winding the clocks back a few years when the C class operated coal trains in NSW, Southern Shorthaul Railroad surprised everyone with a colourful spectacle on TM04 loaded coal from Tahmoor to PWCS (Port Waratah Coal Services) with the quadruplet of C510, C507, C506 and C505 as they power the train up through Wyee station on the Short North.

All of SSR C Class have been pressed into service this week with these 4 operating the Tahmoor Coal and the other 2 operating their grain service to the Southern regions of NSW.

Time circuits on? Good! Today we're traveling back to August 2011.

I believe this was the 1st MOC I ever built. My friends family was staying with me at the time (their house sold so quickly they were without a house for a month) and we all sat down for a few hours over the weekend and each built our own motorcycles.

I must have robbed a lot of the parts off the few LEGO sets I had received for my birthday and Christmas as I did not have any special parts at the time.

This is a new photo of the build and the original photos can be seen here and here

There was one change was made to the original build. I have added a 1x2x2/3 slope to the seat.

Sweet innocent me, perhaps my skirt was a bit short - or needs pulling down.

This is a photo of me (taken by a friend a hundred or so years ago) doing what you're absolutely NOT supposed to do in Yellowstone: feeding a baby bear! Shortly after this photo was taken, mama bear showed up. I made it back to the car in plenty of time but she managed to get her nose in the car window looking for food before we got it completely closed. I have a picture of that too :-).

(Thanks to Alan Walden for the perfect title for this image!)

CHEF martie_everaerdt is interested to see how we humans interact with our fellow animals.

Your image must include little white flowers.

Also some butterflies.

And one or more trees.

Plus the interaction between ONE human and ONE animal.

NO WATER.

Location: probably along South Luzon Expressway (above) and The present day Manila Multimodal Terminal (below)

Model: Marlene Senko

I took this photo of Marlene last year at the flower field. I wish i was able to go to the field this year. It is such a beautiful place <3

I cannot believe this was taken over ten years ago.

Here the time has been stopped: a steep staircase with the steps eroded by time passing, the walls of the houses burned by saltiness coming from the sea…

Vernazza, Cinque Terre: the staircase that leads to Doria Castle.

Qui il tempo si è fermato: una ripida scalinata con i gradini erosi dal tempo, i muri della case bruciati dalla salsedine proveniente dal mare...

Vernazza, Cinque Terre, la scalinata che conduce al Castello Doria.

Celebrating the July 4th weekend with a flashback picture from 1995...Hope you enjoy a long legged lady!!

Another re-work of a 2012 image. Taken at one of my favourite locations in Sydney, Turimetta beach. An ever changing beach and rock shelf keeps this place a must visit throughout the year. This was a sunset that produce some nice soft colour in the sky.

[Barbie's flashback (continuation of Sweetie's, Pt. II) sometime last year...]

Barbie --- You all mean the world to me and I don't know what I'd do without any of you.

Christie --- Aw, B. you know we all love you too! You're my best friend and you always will be.

Summer --- You all are my sisters. Not by Mattel but you all are my sisters forever.

Raquelle --- This group wouldn't be the same without any of us.

Teresa --- Yeah, It just wouldn't be great without eight!

Drew --- There's something special and unique about everyone and that's why we're so good together.

Nikki --- Just say it! We're family. Not by Mattel but we're family, and we always will be.

Skipper --- [holding back tears] Oh my gosh... you guys are so corny

Barbie --- Group hug. I love you girls!

One more day, and she's heading home. But before she leaves, it must be said, "Toronto, ROCKS!"

In a happier and safer world.

Mr. Pink tells Ben.. "I just got rid of your friend but i could use a guy like you in my ranks.

"I'll never join you!" Ben exclaims...

Mr. Pink replies; "Well in that case... we'll just have to persuade you by other means... take him to the next room gentlemen!"

As Ben is dragged away by the two elite guards he shouts at Mr. Pink..."What have you done to my friend Pink? You'll pay for this!"

it's been a very long day. i've spent all day moving and packing and now i'm back home in Bellville for the summer :)

for some reason, John Thomas has his hair all vintage looking today... so i made good use of it!

I took this while on the Staten Island Ferry back when I went on my New York trip in April.

I've been going through a bunch of old photos lately and this was one of the few I decided to post.

I LOVE this photo.

I don't even know who this person is, but I just so happened to look out the side of the boat and saw this.

I thought it was a perfect moment.

This guy was just, "hanging out" so to speak.

He unintentionally gave me a great shot.

Thanks dude. LOL

Another re-work of a 2012 image. Shot at the southern end of Turimetta beach, Sydney Australia. Every year this rock shelf gets covered in a thick green moss which provides some great colour contrast on grey mornings like this.
