Those last days I've been playing around with FLARToolkit, an AS3 class that analyzes a pattern through your webcam and then gives you some coordinates you can use in your favorite 3d engine for flash. Mine is Away3d.

This is the default pattern which comes with the class.

Thanks to Sqoosha for porting the original Java ARtoolkit to flash.

Haven't taken any photos for close to a year now. My wife suggested I dust off the old camera and flash. So in the evening we went for a walk-about with our friends along the Nipissing lakeshore.

Used one Sb-900 hard at about 30 degree camera left, trigered by radiopoppers, post processed in Lightroom 3 and Photoshop CS5 with the Topaz 5 to boot!

Processed hard for hard lighting not what I would typically do for portrait work, but it seemed right at the time!

Stole this idea from Mikey to retouch some of my photos. Compare with this
