Yo soy Flash, un perro de aproximadamente 6 ½ meses de edad, color negro con café claro, pelaje corto y tamaño mediano-grande. Llegué a una casa cuando el perro que vive ahí me invitó a pasar la tarde y ya no me fui; al parecer este perro es rescatista porque ya es la segunda vez que gracias a su astucia, se ingresan animales al programa de adopción. Fui desparasitado, vacunado y esterilizado. Soy un perrito dócil y cariñoso, aunque al principio suelo comportarme de manera nerviosa con las personas que no conozco, pues estoy muy acostumbrado a convivir solo con mis cuidadores. Sin embargo, algunos minutos después me convierto en el curioso y simpático perro que ellos bien conocen. No tengo problemas conviviendo con otros perros; ni siquiera con gatos. A pesar de mi edad se puede decir que soy más bien tranquilo y obediente. Busco una familia que me pueda tener paciencia los primeros días, y que esté dispuesta a cuidarme y quererme como todo perrito lo necesita. For this week's Assignment 52-Make Friends with Your Flash.

This was taken in a room with early light coming from a window and the on camera flash--no other light. It's ok, but I do think I overprocessed it in trying to convey an 'old look'. Also, two objects doesn't do it for me; I should have used an odd number, say three or five. If only I had a roll of film for that Brownie, that would've been perfect!

I probably wouldn't eat these.

Flash was set at 30. Exposure corrections are done in photoshop.

I recently went to the dentist and had my wisdom teeth removed. I asked the dentist to bring them home so I could photograph them.

This is the second time I've seen a green flash and this time I was prepared with camera in hand.

Flash: achiever 632LCD with a clip-on diffuser, at minimum setting (1/16 f/2.0) and triggered with a cheap radio slave. Diffuser was held just out of the frame and pointed at the critters from an oblique angle.

Jueves 18 de agosto. Alumnos de secundaria presentaron la poesía "Me gritaron negra" de Victoria Santa Cruz, y el baile grupal "Festejo", todo a manera de flash mob durante la hora de almuerzo de secundaria.

Wedding number 2 in December: this time my wonderful friend Maureen and her equally wonderful partner husband, Steve. Many, many photos to sift through into the New Year but this was one that caught my eye on the night.
