I was driving around Phoenix and noticed a very tall American flag pole near a car dealership. I chose to take this picture in order to try negative space along with emphasizing the color. I used Photoshop in this photo by adding more definition in the sky and clouds with the "burn" tool, which gave the picture a more retro look in the end. I also emphasized the saturation and color balance to red and blue, in order to add more definition to the sky and stripes. I also gave stress towards negative space on the right side of the photo in order to give off more of an effect to the photo.
