Despite years of dereliction, there's a fresh Canadian flag flying. East of Morpeth on old Highway 3.
This blend is produced in limited quantity and left to mature in our polished stainless steel barrels so there is zero light infiltration or ingredient degradation.

Never too sure about the football element of the St George Day parade, especially the No Surrender slogan on this flag.
I do get the odd sewing job and some are quite odd.
This job was to back 2 cross-stitched maritime flags so that they can be used as table decorations at a wedding.
I didn't do the cross-stitching - I hemmed, made channels for the 'flag poles', and I stitched shiny white lining fabric at the backs ...
Here you can see the cross-bars I made with thread to stop the flag-poles going too far. Got the idea from looking at my books of lace-making ... needle lace and this is about close to needle lace making as I'm ever going to go. That is one craft I actually don't want to learn!
