The flag of Saskatchewan features the armorial bearings (coat of arms) in the upper quarter nearest the staff, with the floral emblem, the western red lily (Lilium philadelphicum), in the fly. The upper green half of the flag represents the northern Saskatchewan forest lands, while the gold lower half symbolizes the southern, prairie wheat-fields. The flag is constructed in the proportions 1:2.

Some teams participate in the Flag Football Scrimmage Games held on Caserma Ederle Aug. 21.

 

Three games were played in the evening at the Track field:

 

173rd Rear Detachment vs. Staff Judge Advocate (SJA): 25-6;

USAHC vs. 173rd Rear Detachment: 6-23;

DENTAC vs. 509th Sig Bn.: 0-44.

  

The regular season will start Aug. 27 until Oct. 17. The participating teams will play on Monday & Wednesday at 6 and 7 p.m. Call 634-7009 for information.

this guy carried his kenya flag (mounted on a fishing rod) around the grounds and took a photo with everyone holding it. i'm convinced he has a picture of every single person at the show. so awesome.

We spent Christmas 2001 at the Marriott Hotel in Calgary. It was a really mild December, with little snow. Across the street was the Palliser Hotel, built 1911-1914, flying the flags of Canada, the United States, and all the Canadian provinces and territories.
