High-Five is one of Zachary's favorite tricks. It has a very obvious cue (extending your hand) and a very easy response (slap it!).
If you extend your right hand he uses his left paw, and if you extend your left he switches to his right paw.
While he expects to hit your hand the first few times, once you get get him going he'll throw his paw at you if you so much as look like you're going to extend your hand.
So long as you treat, he'll repeat.
This makes "wave" a fairly easy trick to capture as well.
This is "High-Five". "Wave" is also included in this two picture set.
(Yes, Henry knows this, too, but he's not nearly as excited about it.)

Found this little clump of wild flowers along the edge of Lake Thompson near Delaplane, VA. My son and I went one Sunday afternoon just to find the place. He fished for a while and I strolled along the edge of the lake looking for pictures. I didn't find a lot, but I like this one:)
Have a great week!

Five lives converge on this narrow stage,
A sidewalk symphony of the modern age.
Each step a note in the day's grand score,
A dance of humanity, forever more.

Stenciled numbers on a weathered wall next to a roll-up door.
Weathered, decaying subjects and subjects with strong patterns attract me, and this one works on both counts. I photographed it a few years ago while wandering around in San Francisco and poking my camera into odd little corners and alleys. This is in a shoreline area that was once a location of true maritime industry, but which is today much like the rest of San Francisco — in other words a place for small offices, start-ups, restaurants and similar enterprises.
The stenciled numbers did catch my attention when I first saw this little scene. Initially I think that their weathered character may have been responsible. But more recently I have wondered about them. Do they still mean something or are they now remnants divorced from an earlier context? Is the message “5” or is it “55?” And what, if anything, is the relationship between the two different fonts used?

The Full Fathom Five installation on the very edge of Portishead Marina, overlooking the sea, taken about 1hr after sunrise. Love those long shadows.
...went on a photo-shoot alone to the Callahan House, no DH, no puppy, and we had a Girls' Morning Out...and everyone had a great time! Sun forgot her shoes, but she said that she likes to go barefoot in such hot weather!
Sun, Alco, Parco, Angel, Adeline, and Holly all had a great time!
This guy is a lizard, not a snake. Notice the front and rear legs! We occasionally see them at Airlie, and they're very interesting to observe.
We had my little five-year-old granddaughter stay with us at our holiday home in Cornwall for 10 days in August, and we had a wonderful time finding places that weren't full of visitors. This is at Lerryn, a delightful little riverside village a few miles south of Lostwithiel in Cornwall. She didn't catch any fish but had a lovely time trying to.
