This little girl was having a hard time throwing colors at the people as she was so much shorter than everyone else. This girl got down to her level and let her throw colors at her. In the end they high fived.

Along the Liverpool to Manchester Railway Transpennine Express services to York and beyond have been worked by 5 coach Class 802 units almost exclusively. However since the December timetable change, the 3 coach Class 185 DMUs have started to make a comeback, as unit 185109 passes through St Helens Junction eastbound, on a service from Liverpool to York.

Series of six. The butterflies are appearing in numbers at last on the South Downs. First time this year I have seen any of these.

Hi folks, this is the image I wanted to post before taking a little holiday with the kids and grand kids. It's saying goodby for a week or so and a fond farewell to the 2011 season, or a high five to a wonderful ( I so hope ) 2012 season. However you may interpret it, thank you all so very much and will see you all back here in 2012.

The time spend in Canada lakes' paradise was long, also because journey starts very early. At five o' clock, yes, in the morning.
I took this before sun rise up... why? Not for seeing the sunrise...
Since the Rockies are a protected area there isn't so much space dedicated to parking.
So if you're with a car and you want to park (buy an ammission ticket before) near the lake, prepare you because you have to get up early...and park...at least at...5.00 a.m. otherwise you have to return home and take the buses (without the assurance that you get in the first one).
I tell you this because one day we arrive at five and didn't suffice. One japanese parked before us in the last parking place watching at us like he was winning a race, smiling and saying to us: I get the place! ok. no comment.
Buongiorno!
E grazie Filippo, Forza Lazio!!!
