After a good bit of filing the knuckle is the correct shape and operates. I used the Kozo designed non-opening couplers I made for the locomotive as a guide to shape these new ones.

Creeping slowly towards being a frame. I need to adjust one of the rear dropouts a hair closer to the BB (or the other a hair further away from the BB) because the rear wheel is ever so slightly angled to the NDS, then cope the upper ends of the seatstays and braze them into place, and then it will be done, modulo details like bottle bosses, a fork, cable stops, fender bridges, canti posts, and the like.
