After a proper working man's break. I pretended to install the new sink.

Continuing work on my Stand Still Stay Silent minifigs. I've printed out the uniforms to make sure they fit and look OK. Not too bad I think.

This is a trial version, I still couldn't shape the Hat properly, nor the pose. But it's good enough to be shared I think...

Hope you all like it.

I've got all the face boards done. Now its a simple matter of sanding, finishing and turning the pulls.

I don't have enough board to make a door for the lower section, so that will have to wait.

The Ceremonial Guard continues to prepare for the public duties season of 2016. As they arrive from across the country, members are outfitted with the uniform of the Ceremonial Guard. Friday, May 27 2016 members of the 3rd Platoon, Public Duties Company, attended a fitting for uniforms of the Canadian Grenadier Guards.

Later this summer , Major Patrice Villeneuve, who was also present , will succeed Major Michel Lavigne as commander of the Ceremonial Guard. In anticipation of his appointment, the support staff took his measurements to size him for his new uniform.

Bespoke fitting successfully done. Now ready to cut both trousers and jacket and then start the actual tailoring.

Making sure the panels fit.

Test fitting everything before paint. Almost done. I need to mount fenders and add some links to the chain. I really want to see how it rides. I have a stand in Nitto Campee front rack until I can get a proper set built for this bike.

Fitting the STR clutch to my car

Trying to figure out who made these, and when. They are 10" to 12" long.

Most people photograph themselves in potential purchases. I'm vain enough to take advantage of the lighting and mirrors. Whatever.

I think I posted this photo last year, but I think it's fitting. Last Halloween, my display was screwed up because of a snow storm. I spent a good part of the day cleaning up storm damage, and didn't get everything set up in time for the evening trick or treaters. This year, we have a hurricane.

On Halloween night, I invite the visitors into my back yard, where I have decorations spread around the yard. I had planned on posting a photo of some of my display setup in that area tonight, but with the storm, most of it isn't setup yet.

Like last year, I'll probably be spending a good amount of time fixing storm damage, and then rushing at the last minute to set everything up again.

I will admit, last Halloween was the first time ever I found the need to shovel snow off my lawn

Sorry little ladybirds.. but it looks super nice!

"For the dedicated few, there more elaborate encampments: scaffolding-supported tents doubling as temporary boat sheds and even the tell-tale sight of stove chimneys jutting out above working canopies, while plastic pipes drained from skin fittings into buckets below."

Came across this today traveling a back road, literally in the middle of no-where. Evidentally a 15 year old died in an accident there almost a year ago. It just really hit me in a sad way. RIP.

St Paddy's becoming high fashion in China and as such we have to follow suit to satisfy demand ;-)).
