No. 36 portside frame repair. After fitting frame into position, marks were marked on frame where to drill 5/16" holes. I brought the frame into the engine room where I had a small drill press. I would drill the with the drill press because it drills a straighter hole than I can by hand, however it could not drill all the way through the 2" material. I would place the frame in the vice and complete the drilling process by hand.

This is from the first time that I got to try the dress on. It was the morning of our Wedding Shower. I cried when I saw it on the hanger and cried even more when I got it on and walked out in it. It was what I had been waiting for. I am so lucky to have found such an amazing wedding dress!

99.365: The print just fit in our kitchen, the way he had just fit into our lives. Seems like it was made to match the vibrant green of the walls, though it came to us before we bought the house, before the wall color was part of our imagining.
It's one of the few things we have to remind us of Sweeney. And seeing it on the wall now is right and fitting, yet it also reminds me how much I miss him.
He would love our home, enjoy visiting, tease Joe about the yard, like a father. He would be excited at my new job (not so new anymore). We'd both be on campus, and I'd visit him in Morrill Hall (before they tear it down). We'd lunch together.
He just fit into our lives, and it was right and good. Almost three years later, his absence still seems a little like a bare wall. One that can't ever be completely filled.
