This is from the first time that I got to try the dress on. It was the morning of our Wedding Shower. I cried when I saw it on the hanger and cried even more when I got it on and walked out in it. It was what I had been waiting for. I am so lucky to have found such an amazing wedding dress!

While working this morning I came across the newly redesigned 20 pound note. They look so different I paused to check with a coworker... had to make sure it wasn't fake! Anyway, I snapped a photo of the new head of English money- Adam Smith himself!

99.365: The print just fit in our kitchen, the way he had just fit into our lives. Seems like it was made to match the vibrant green of the walls, though it came to us before we bought the house, before the wall color was part of our imagining.
It's one of the few things we have to remind us of Sweeney. And seeing it on the wall now is right and fitting, yet it also reminds me how much I miss him.
He would love our home, enjoy visiting, tease Joe about the yard, like a father. He would be excited at my new job (not so new anymore). We'd both be on campus, and I'd visit him in Morrill Hall (before they tear it down). We'd lunch together.
He just fit into our lives, and it was right and good. Almost three years later, his absence still seems a little like a bare wall. One that can't ever be completely filled.

On Sunday 28 February 2010 the Sydney Tramway Museum operated a special "Trams of Australia" day to mourn the 50th anniversary of the closure of the Bondi and Bronte tram systems.
Trams from 5 Australian cities were operating.
This was a remarkable survivor. J class 675 was built in 1904 and spent 60 years as a shed. It was restored to service in 2009.
