Happy New Year Everyone! Continuing my subwoofer box build photos, where I decided I wanted to gain a tiny bit more precious depth by notching out for brackets that are a part of the truck's back wall. Man, was this a lot of crazy trial and error!
Lesson learned - next time (God forbid XD) I'll coat the bracket faces down with a red Sharpie marker and let the red left on the back be my guide for where to cut this relief out. This was also my first (ever!) encounter with a high-quality scroll saw, and the sloppy results speak for themselves (not the fault of the scroll saw, just my inexperience) :P

This is one of my favorite glasses. It started life as a jar of "Chinese honey." I found it in a market in Chinatown. I think it must have been designed to become a drinking glass, because the top is not threaded. It's smooth like a glass, and the lid was just a snap-on, snug-fitting plastic disk.

Created from a black dress with some fancy fabric work to make it into a sort of parachute pant suit
This will be the second project that I will be uploading a photo record off. The subject will be the wonderful and eccentric “Moulton” In this case a very early 1965 Moulton Standard. I need it for a Bicycle ride in 2 or 3 weeks time for bicycles of 20” wheels or smaller and the Moulton will do nicely with 16” wheels and a Sturmey-Archer 4 speed hub. The machine will be getting a complete rebuild and that will include a new paint job.
This is an arduous job but critical to the structure of the main frame. These were aluminium internal structures fixed to the main frame bulkheads.
