This is from the first time that I got to try the dress on. It was the morning of our Wedding Shower. I cried when I saw it on the hanger and cried even more when I got it on and walked out in it. It was what I had been waiting for. I am so lucky to have found such an amazing wedding dress!

In order to provide added strength to the floor board that sits above No.1 fuel tank, steel top hat sections are fitted. The ones from the previous floorboard were in good condition, so after being cleaned up with an electric wire brush, they were fitted to the new floor board. All that remains is for the bolts to be cut down to size.

Here are the adjustments I made before cutting:

1. Shortened the skirt (too much now that I’m wearing it. I’ll scale that back for the real dress).

2. Made a Small Bust Adjustment. I took one inch off the bust area. Maybe I need to take more off?

3. Shortened the bodice by an inch. I like where the belt sits at my waist.

I seem to have some extra slack at the sides under the armpits. Maybe I can fudge it by sewing the seam a little wider? Or do I need to do more complex adjustments?

The foot crossing between the platform and the Dougal Shed at Llanfair Caereinion Station was becoming a bit rickety. A new heavier duty replacement was installed during the week commencing 9th June.

6. It forms a nice edge and if you work it slow the transistion is smooth.

This was one of the dresses I tried on that I could've considered, but I went with a black number. My mom took this photo and I think the flash caught the attention of the saleslady, who paid more attention to us.
