This is the first potholder I've ever completed. It is for a friend of mine who is an avid mushroom hunter. This side, the face, is the result of English paper piecing octagons and squares with a one inch side length.

I first met Alejandra as a Stranger. She is from Mexico and in Ireland as as part of a world tour. Following our stranger meeting, she accepted my subsequent invitation to do a tour and photoshoot around Dublin. This is one of a collection of photos from the photoshoot. I gave Alejandra a copy of all 180 of the photos on a USB.

It was my first time to do a photoshoot and Alejandra's first time as a model.
