Felix: "It's snowing ice cubes!"
Daddy: "It's called hail (scientific explanation) Go out and feel what it's like..."
Exit Felix.
Enter Felix.
Daddy: "Did it hurt?"
Felix: (Laughing) Yeah. But just a little bit.
Day 2, our first Sunday on the island and the sun shines bright. We are confident enough to pick and mix from our bus map and our walking guide, so we make up our own itinerary: Bus no. 86 to Mdina, a walk round Mdina including coffee with a view from Fontanella Tea Gardens, then a stroll out of Rabat to Buskett Gardens (a popular Sunday picnic place), and on to Dingli cliffs. We started early so we were in time to get a late lunch at Bobbyland (another popular spot, Maltese people like to go out for Sunday lunch). After lunch, a postprandial stroll into Dingli and home in time for a pre-dinner read courtesy of buses 81 and 86.
The man on the plinth near the bus stop in Dingli is the novelist and playwright Francis Ebejer.

Sorry about the poor picture, i think it's aged abit
About 2005 ?
My cocker spaniel was at my feet waiting for cookie crumbs to fall the whole time I shot this image.
I tried a few different ideas with it and, as usual, came back to this shot for it's simplicity.

Just Bought a New Trigger for my MITZ flash , also i bought a New Reflector , This is my first try with the New Equipment , The flash in the Back , The reflector in the front .
Travelling down from Keswick to Manchester by bus, I was obliged to complete the journey to Edale by train, annoyingly I rushed onto the platform only to see the rear of the departing Sheffield sevice pulling away, I was then stuck in Manchester Piccadilly for an hour-and-a-half wait for the next train. I got to Edale about six pm and walked up the lane to this famous starting point to The Pennine Way, England's first designated Long Distance Trail. Originally the brain-child of the late Tom Stephenson, he was present at it's opening inauguration on Malham Moor in April 1965, almost thirty years after his first article suggesting a continuous trail along the Pennines was published. From this spot the Derbyshire Dales, Yorkshire Dales, Hadrians Wall, the Northumbrian National Park and the lonesome Cheviot will all be traversed to end at distant Kirk Yetholm over the border in bonnie Scotland. Between me and those beckoning sunlit uplands there is the trifling matter of 268 miles, and a journey of 268 miles begins with a single step taken on this occasion at 6.10pm on Monday 10th. My first mammogram,
and I wanted to share my experience.
I was working myself up slowly that it was going to hurt. But it was just a little smooshing, squooshing and a little pressure. It was not a big deal.
A little freaky at first, but the woman I had was calm, nice and casual, which I am sure makes all the difference in the world. I think the overall trick is just try to be realxed :)
But it is VERY important to get them done at that certain age and then regularily. If something is there then it is better to be caught early on and is more treatable early, from what I understand.
So don't forget to get your mammograms girls!

Former London Dart 41312 is seen passing Buchanan Bus Station of the 398 station interlink service. Earlier it had become stuck in the forecourt area at Queens Street Station due to an Ambulance attending to an emergency.

The first test run on the southern loops. The IHB 0-8-0 is threading her way through track 5. Sorry again about the gubbins blocking the view and the shaky camera. I've already proved I'm a lousy dolly grip.
