Not a good shot because of the light, but this is one of First Glasgow's single-decker Wright Volvos in the special livery for the 747 AirLink service from the West End to the airport. Here it is at Partick bus station.
This was my first car. It was a used Ford Maverick. I got it as a graduation gift from my parents in 1979. The year of the car was a 1973 or 74 . It had a 4 cylinder engine. It was a copper color and the body was in ruff shape with rust. I was always tinkering with it. But...It was a good running car and it got me on a lot of dates. I have a lot of happy memories with this car! This photo was taken with a 110 camera.
They may be hard to see, but this Pussy Willow tree across the pond was the first to show any leaves.
