Just got back from my trip to Maui. I didn't have any internet there so I wasn't able to respond and visit everyones photo streams. I'll get to that tomorrow.

This is the first of the shots from my trip. Didn't get to shoot much as work had me pretty busy. This was shot at around the 6am sunrise from the back end of the inter island Super Ferry. Camera was hand held on the railing to get 5 exposures. No hdr on this one. Just used CS3 and digital blending with layer masks. Added curve adjustments, wheyth filter on just the buildings and noise ninja.

I believe that this must be GWR Rail Replacment bus service 128 14.15 Weston-super-Mare to Bristol Parkway due here at Yatton Station at 14.45 and therefore running 25 minutes late.

There are no trains between Weston-super-Mare , Bristol Temple Meads , Parkway , and Bath until Wednesday , due to resignalling works around Bristol over the Easter weekend. First West of England are running the replacement bus service.

69501 is a Volvo B7RLE / Wright Eclipse 2 B43F new June 2010 as B37F for Airport Flyer service A1. New Scania deckers arrived for the A1 contract at the end of February 2018 , and these 12 2010/1 Eclipses have been refurbished and repainted in this striking livery for use on "Discover" services D1 , D2 and D3 at Westbury (Bath ) depot from April.

This new lens is going to take some getting used to. It's a good macro lens, but not good for snowflakes. It can't focus closely enough. And I have a hard time getting used to it as a telefoto, just because I've never had a telefoto before. But I think we're going to be good friends, once we get used to each other.

Here is 1650 heading into Windsor on the occasion of the Slough Windsor Running day in May 2006, this event has always been based at Brunel bus station in Slough, although this facility has now been demolished to make way for a new bus station part of a £400million redevelopment of Slough town centre
