First of Advent.
A very special day here in Sweden. For us, it's the beginning of the Christmas season. Daylight is very scarce this time of year, so we celebrate by decorating our homes with lots of lights. We bake gingerbread snaps, drink mulled wine and enjoy the company of our loved ones.
This year, for the first time in my life, I spent First of Advent without family. My family consists of my daughter, and the day before Advent 1st, I dropped her off at her dad's place. It was his turn to enjoy her company for a week.
Then, I drove to the nearby shopping mall and bought lovely new Advent stars. I spent the evening decorating my house with them.
The prettiest one is really big and cherry red, with sparkly silver decorations. It goes in to my daughter's room.
Next weekend, she will be here again. And I so much hope she will like her new Advent Star.
I miss her.

A little fantasy per se.
Back in the day I flew a lot, especially on Delta. So, over time, flying one end of the country to the other, I became a 2 Million Miler with them and a majority of the time got bumped up to first class.
One look at this photo and I wanted to be her. I love the satin dress, the shiny black nylons and black high heeled CFM stilettos.
It would be one hell of a fantasy to be in first class like this. Every man on the flight would be fantasizing about me and how it would be with me.
By the way, please pay no attention to my right hand. It's cramped up from letting the pilot experience my fellatrix skills before takeoff.
I wonder where the fight attendant is? I need a stiff drink! No pun intended... well maybe... yes, definitely!
I just got the first roll of film from Lux developed! I have another roll of Ilford Pan F+ in the works, too. I actually told the guys at Moon Photo that it may be severely light damaged (I didn't have much confidence in light-tightness of 3D-printed cameras since Laika). But lo and behold - zero light leaks, almost no scratching. . . perfect negs as far as I'm concerned. I'm really happy with how this first roll came out!

First AU53HJV (32479) is a Volvo B7TL with Alexander ALX400 bodywork. Seen at Ipswich Railway Station, AU53HJV was new to First Eastern Counties as their 134.
Volvo PNG bus P505 MVV in St James Rd Northampton in 2001....originally numbered 505 and renumbered finally to 66005..the six buses in this batch went out of service about 2005.
Looking at the Armidale end of the train - an immaculately clean three-car Northern Tablelands Xplorer NP44 makes its first stop of the Journey at Uralla. EC2527 is at the lead while EA2507 brings up the rear.
Great Falls before sun-up. There was just enough light to catch the new snow dusting the trees -- almost left the scene with frostbite, waiting for the sun to rise.

This is one of my first panoramic attempts. I've combined two wide angle pictures including some HDR, and I am quite happy with the result
Although I may not consider this photo as one of my most compelling images but it was my first of firsts. It was one of my firsts out of the hundreds of frames I did when I was still starting out photography. Shot using a standard 18-135mm kit lens, it was my first successful manual exposure as far as basing with the histogram is concerned. This image inspired me to pursue my passion in photography---it’s something that I would treasure for it changed my perspective in this craft.
