The last few days have brought out the butterflies at long last, going from swans to insects with the same equipment in the same session is a bit of a tester, but the four feet min focus of this lens let you get in close (three feet from front of lens). Using a macro would have it's problems getting in close without frightening the subject. This is the first small speckled wood seen in our area this year.

A recent repaint into 2012 corporate livery, but still awaits the fitting of e--leather seats. It is understood that 36001-4 will receive a revised special livery for Service 31 but this is the first time 36005 has worn corporate garb since it was new nearly 10 years ago.

My first sighting of one of NCT’s Yutong E10s came on 9.6.24, with 216 (now renumbered 254) coming up Arkwright Street and passing Bridgford MMC 304 going the other way. It’s a fairly lame start to getting a new vehicle type in Nottingham but it gets better, because I’ve now managed to start making slight inroads into spotting the E10 fleet.
