More than 40 firefighters were on the scene of a field fire in Havant.
The incident was near Southleigh Road shortly after two o’clock, with initial reports indicating a fire involving hay bales.
Crews from Havant, Cosham, Southsea and Waterlooville were supported by specialist vehicles from Fareham, Portchester, Bordon and SHQ.
The fire services have managed to save a small group of trees in the burned field.

A huge blaze broke out at Stormy Down, near were I live this evening so rushed off with the camera to get some shot, these are the best the other have a bit to much shake to be any good. Thank good for my 50mm! The Fire Engine lights came out so much better than I though they would.

A rather old Tomica casting, in fact I remember buying a Polistil branded copy from Sitges way back in 2015 so this i'm assuming is much older! Their Hino Ranger based Rescue Truck III Type is still giving sterling service though is more likely to be found in a multi-set these days. Small in size but still offering a lot of painted detailing, metal content and rear working features.
