These two fire engines just turned up outside my flat with much wailing of sirens and flashing of lights. After about fifteen minutes they went away again. There was no sign of a fire anywhere.

Warren County - Barn fire, Tanner Meeting Road, Warrenton, NC. Warrenton RVFD, Macon RVFD, Norlina VFD, and NC Forest Service responded.
They served the communities of San Martin, Madrone, Rucker and Redwood Retreat and the rural areas of the cities of Gilroy and Morgan Hill. Engine 3 was photographed at a drill at San Martin Airport in 1992.
Now a part of the Santa Clara County Fire Dept, but Los Altos Fire Dept at the time of this photo had 3 fire stations. Los Altos Fire engine 72 waits in staging at a large scale, multi-agency drill at the Holiday Inn in Milpitas in 1994.
