A fire engine parked behind Asda. There were firemen inside the store doing shopping for the relief.
This darling fire engine was 'born' in 1916 and can still function, albeit rather more slowly than it used to.
And I got to ring the bell, woohoo! ;o)
For the September MSH - Whistles and Bells
Wake County - MVC overturned, pinned, Poole Road, Raleigh, NC. Raleigh FD, Wake Co. EMS, and Raleigh PD responded. Raleigh FD Engine-12 and Wake County EMS-7.
We'd just admired them on the forecourt of the fire station and then one went past. I think it needed to top up the steam lorry half a mile ahead of us in the queue!
