Title from finding aid and outside of envelope.

I was finding it super difficult to style Minx on this FR body because the bust is so LARGE but the legs and arms are so long, and it was just so wrongly stylised for Minx that I decided to just buy another, smaller body for her.
Anyway that left this body up for grabs, and while I liked the repro Midge on it it wasn’t quite right.
I dug around and decided to put one of my favourite Mattel Collectors heads on it, this Betty Rubble head. I was saving her head if a Curvy MTM ever existed cuz her head is a lot bigger and rounder than other Diva sculpt dolls, but it looks like that’s not gonna happen for a long while.
I put her on this body, and her big stylised face really balances out the ridiculous proportions of this body.
A stormy, rainy commute to work. A low pressure system was impacting the Bay Area and California with rainy, unsettled weather. Our state needs the water so this was a nice treat for us, although it made for hazardous driving conditions. Drive safely out there folks! Footage taken from around San Jose and Pleasanton, CA. *Life isn't finding shelter in the storm. It's about learning to dance in the rain. ― Sherrilyn Kenyon, Acheron.
There is nothing like going through my Flickr favorites to get me inspired to sew again. I almost feel like getting out of bed to go sew! But I'm too tired for that tonight.
These are just a few starting points of inspiration for a quilt i've been commissioned to make for a little girl out of Heather Ross fabrics...definitely a project I'm looking forward to!
I created this using my all time favorite iPad app (still!) - Moodboard! I just love it for gathering all of my visual "thoughts" in one spot.
[edited] It’s been a while since I went out for a random night shot. This wasn’t what I originally envisioned for this shot, so I did some editing. Let me know what you think.

Got a shiny new camera for Christmas, and this set. Brilliant! This shot came to mind as I raided my old Lego for crossover ideas (pity it's Winter but hey)
