I recently released a new post-processing instructional video. It's packed with some unique techniques and theories about processing you may not find anywhere else. People seem to really be enjoying the videos and have had nothing but great things to say, so I *think* they are helping people... it's been awesome to see the many before/after shots people have been emailing me. From my workshop in Colorado Springs in 2019. The nice thing about the pandemic (I guess) is it's given me an opportunity to go back to some of my favorite sessions and edit some files I'd not gotten to originally.

It’s past Christmas, and perhaps many lights have faded… the winter is long and dark yet before the spring comes….
but there is light in the deep wood, if you are quiet… and patient.
There is magic that sparkles in the snow.
As I roam about SL, and SHOP! I sometimes find wonderful little things that are JUST PERFECT and I know exactly what to do with them.
And sometimes I find things that are just perfect… but I know they need something… to make them sing, to make them truly come alive. I love those maybe the most — the mix-and-match, the outfit, the look that is truly one-of-a-kind, because no one else thought to put those things together
I’d been playing with the beautiful Opal Ice skin from Fallen Gods for months… and the Snowflakes outfit from Caverna Obscura
It was truly the beautiful Lightbringer antlers from Spyralle that made me know I had the look I wanted. They include a HUD to set the jewel/light colours at the tips of the antlers, as well as options with or without the headpiece and headpiece texture. I couldn’t resist the opal, it goes so well with the skin. Add to that a beautiful body shimmer from Stargazer, and..
This is a new favourite…. and it has me almost wishing the snow stays for weeks and weeks and weeks.

An old tree stump sticks its head clear of the ccld waters of Loch Lomond with only a few neighbouring rocks for company
A quiet and deserted bay on the coast of Lindisfarne (Holy Island) off the North East coast of England in Northumberland.
This small lake just a mile away from Haukland beach offered nice mountains and reflections to catch that amazing sky

I went to a beach near Kamakura to find "sea glasses" which is broken pieces of bottles, windows, chinas so on.
As we walk towards Tower Arch in Arches National Park, we admire the sandstone pillars that stand out against the snowy peaks of the LaSal Mountains. The longer focal length compresses the scene and contrasts the warm colors of the rocks and the cool tones of the snow. It's a stunning sight that helps me appreciate, even more, the beauty of the world in which we all live and share.

Do you ever feel overwhelmed with the possibilities of where to guide your life? Sometimes I feel frozen like a deer in headlights for days at a time wondering what to do next. I feel so alive (and only slightly burdened) at times when thinking about every decision that I could be making. It makes me think of the time that is passing me by before I make the decisions that will steer my life down one path or another. We all have the ability to change a life for the better, and that life is our own...I want to make the most of that responsibility.
In a very wise poem, one of my favorites, there is a line that says "Let be be finale of seem".
Or, in the famous words of Nike, "Just do it".
That's where my head is at today, how about you? This is my kitty Nyah, the one with only 3 paws. She was a doll for this photo, so wonderful...no scratches on me at all!
