Finally finished the bag I started at Gwen's on Saturday. It's bigger than my other, and will take some getting used to. I like it, tho. Thrifted the middle flower fabric. My thrift addiction is coming back. Trying to get control over it. In other news, I'm sick again. So that's fun!
They have my favorite food in China! Don't faint at that price-- at the time I was there, $14.50 rmb was about $1.80 American.
I started this thing dec.18, 2008 and 2.5 years later it's finally finished! And just in time for my own little bean in October!
As I get older, I do realize I miss Hawaii more - there's something very unique about this place that I can't find anywhere else. And yes - food is definitely part of that equation. :)
when i got up this morning, the sun was out. the first time properly, in almost three weeks. i'm feeling so much better for it.

Finally!! I place to put all my hard drives! This is the "back" view.
The nursery is now complete. I'm really happy with the way it has turned out. The colours are bright but soothing, the crib and change table fit perfectly. Also put together the stroller and car seat tonight.
When the rain stopped Nathen, Popple, and I went to the tourist beach just off of 20th and Ocean blvd. Nathen immediatley took off his shoes and his jacket and started running for the water.. He frolicked and played to his hearts content. The tide of the water was intruiging to him. He would stand at the end and wait for the waves to crash into his feet. He took some time to find sea shells, and insited on throwing the broken ones back into the ocean (he said that is where they belonged so they could find thier other parts).
I did not notice the rainbow untill I started going through all of the photo's of that day... Just another sign that God granted Nathen's wish...
