Yes, this is a photograph. Taken at the onset of a snowstorm last weekend. It's amazing how much color is revealed when snow blankets the winter landscape.

Taken with 400 ISO film for the graininess and slightly oversharpened to gain texture.

Another one from Saturday in the harefield.... we (there was a group of about 11) made our way through the meadow and disturbed this snipe (another new sight for me) which caught the attention of the hare. It's not a great shot, as they were quite a distance away, but I loved how the sunlight came across the grass and highlighted the edges of both of them :)
