Crops including rice, growing near Sembalun Lawang village, Lombok, Indonesia. The rice which is ready to harvest is yellow. The fields are also near traditional Sasak ethnic houses.

A visit to Vækker in October. When I walk here, I can see a river, fields, mountains, a lot of bird life and the sea.

I like the dreamy feel this photo has. The clouds were very cool the other morning. I also found a late canola crop that was still in bloom. Usually by now all the yellow flowers are gone and the seeds are developing.

"Fields Of Gold"

You'll remember me when the west wind moves

Upon the fields of barley

You'll forget the sun in his jealous sky

As we walk in the fields of gold

So she took her love

For to gaze awhile

Upon the fields of barley

In his arms she fell as her hair came down

Among the fields of gold

Will you stay with me, will you be my love

Among the fields of barley

We'll forget the sun in his jealous sky

As we lie in the fields of gold

See the west wind move like a lover so

Upon the fields of barley

Feel her body rise when you kiss her mouth

Among the fields of gold

I never made promises lightly

And there have been some that I've broken

But I swear in the days still left

We'll walk in the fields of gold

We'll walk in the fields of gold

Many years have passed since those summer days

Among the fields of barley

See the children run as the sun goes down

Among the fields of gold

You'll remember me when the west wind moves

Upon the fields of barley

You can tell the sun in his jealous sky

When we walked in the fields of gold

When we walked in the fields of gold

When we walked in the fields of gold

This is up the Valley on the way to Glacier National Park. Beautiful fields and fields of yellow!

Happy Saturday and thanks for viewing! :-)

"Rapeseed", also known as rape, oilseed rape, rapa, rappi, rapaseed, is a bright-yellow flowering member of the family Brassicaceae, consumed in China and Southern Africa as a vegetable. The name derives from the Latin for turnip, rāpa or rāpum, and is first recorded in English at the end of the 14th century. Wikipedia. This particular field was in Kent somewhere. I couldn't resist taking a photo of this with the sky so blue with those lovely plump fluffy clouds. Looks like summer has arrived, for a while anyway.

.... a sunset bloom, burning, in the gray storm clouds, glowing, on the snowy twilight fields ...

... fields of daffodils at RHS Wisley. A treat for Mr T and I last Saturday - a welcome break from the stresses of preparing to move house on 15 April! (We exchanged Contracts on April 1st - happily it wasn't a joke!!)XX

Early visit to St Benet's, Nr Ludham, Norfolk. the light was wonderful and there is a slight mist over the fields. Glorious day!

Please feel free to comment. It's lovely to be praised, but, if you see something which could improve an image don't be afraid to say! There are several of my contacts who give my images honest appraisal and I am grateful for that.

This shot was taken when I was out strolling around in the nearby nature reserve of "Norra Järvafältet". I was looking for a single tree located in a grassy field so I could take a "frosty, foggy" shot later this year. I didn´t found exactly what I was looking for but I found this tree and decided I should try to find some good compositions. The tree's branches form a bit of a "mushroom hat" and are fairly symmetric. I will go back in the autumn and see how the scene changes and what colors that bring. This image is processed to be on the warm side, with saturated colors and "golden" glow to it.

This shot was taken with my Nikon D7200 and Sigma 24-105mm f4.0 art lens.

Field at the beginning of summer grain and various weeds.

OK, so I moved the church a few hundred feet to the right, but can you blame me?

That's one of my favourite spots to take photos in. Favourite because it's close to my house and I don't need to go far to take a nice shot. This time it was a sunset - on the left you can see a silhouette of a church that's located on a cemetery.

I took a low point of view to show mostly the young plants. The sky is an addition (but I believe quite a nice one).

Even with the use of Hitech graduated filter, it was difficult to keep out the sunlight on the right.

Have a good day and week everone - my next photo may be many days ahead (or hopefully sooner). ;-)

BTW, thanks in advance for any signs of appreciation! :-)

shot taken on my bike ride this morning, and then I enhanced it a bit.
