Our road trip up the California coast is less than a week away. Hooray!
I am going to bring only two cameras, my 5DII and my Mamiya C33. Scotty still thinks it's one too much. Does anyone else have a non-photographic spouse who isn't so fond of how much time you spend shooting little details? He's tolerant… to a limit. Thank goodness I'll have Lara, my oldest roommate from Montreal traveling with us. They'll hopefully keep each other company through any potential slow-downs. Incidentally, all of our birthdays fall within two weeks of one-another, so this is our gift to ourselves. :D
Still up for a meet-up with anyone who's around, or who can suggest any secret spots for us to explore!
You'll remember me when the west wind moves
Upon the fields of barley
You can tell the sun in his jealous sky
When we walked in fields of gold
When we walked in fields of gold
When we walked in fields of gold.
Sting.
When the night falls in the square of Campo de 'fiori, the merchants' voices are far away. Instead, they illuminate the benches of the flowers that make up the night, with their charming colors.
Campo de' Fiori
Quando scende la notte nella piazza di Campo de' fiori, le voci dei mercanti sono ormai lontane. Si illuminano invece i banchi dei fiori che fanno da contorno alla notte, con i loro incantevoli colori.
The bright yellow flowers of a rapeseed field stretch to the horizon. I used the track through the field to create a sense of perspective and add depth to the composition.
The good old nature stuff ;-)
