Another attempt at a widefield shot of the Vela supernova remnant at 135mm focal length. One night worth of exposures, mostly with an Astronomik clip in UHC filter, 10 minute subs at ISO800, with some no filter shots, 10 minutes at ISO200. The UHC was used as luminance as well as some colour. This is all pretty faint stuff! Sigma 135mm lens at f/2.0, CGEM2 EQ mount, PHD2 guiding, NINA camera control, APP and PS processing. I like NINA but its really rubbish for DSLR shooting, next time I will be back on APT.

What a fabulous sunny day today...and so many beautiful buttercup meadows...not sure if this horse should be eating them though!

The Werre Meadow in October. Löhne, Ostwestfalen. Germany
Saturday I was a little bit lazy and went to the Werre Meadow. Located only a few hundred meters behind my house the area is very popular for walking dogs, hiking and canoeing.
The Werre is a tiny little river and flows into the Weser near Bad Oeynhausen in Northwest Germany, the Werre Meadow is an area with open fields, small forests and paths. The perfect hike is a bridge-to bridge turnaround near Löhne allowing to experience nature on both river banks.

The "Golden Hour" lit this field and created a rare view from the balcony lounge chair of my apartment. It was Thursday but it felt like a lazy Sunday when the only things that mattered were memories . So I grabbed a cold one from the fridge and prepared my camera to record the moment. I've often wondered if the red-haired walker knew how well she blended.
