Like pieces of driftwood these weathered old buildings keep guard of their golden fields being warmed by the morning sun.

This image was made with a Nikon D300 and a 55-200 f/4-5.6 lens set to f/22.0, and exposed at 1/20th of a second at ISO 400, and processed in Photoshop.

Stopped off at Chesterton for a sunset on the way back from the Peak District last weekend. Even though we left early I think we had the best of the light that evening.

Driving through rural Victoria, Australia, I came across these fields of bright yellow rapeseed blooms and the colors were so vivid that I had to stop and take a moment.
