Living is easy with eyes closed,
misunderstanding all you see,
it's getting hard to be someone,
But it all works out
It doesn't matter much to me,
let me take you down,
'cos' i'm going to strawberry fields
I was driving down a country road with my family last night and saw how the light was interacting with the clouds. I made mention of this and my family wasn't surprised by the fact that I pulled over and hopped out of the car to capture this rural scene in Northwest Ohio. The light combined with the fields of wheat and an old barn that has fallen into disrepair just provided a nice foreground to the clouds and sky. This image is an HDR composite that exposed for the sky and then for the foreground combining these in post.

8-1-15 After traveling thru a portion of Prince Christian Sound in Southern Greenland aboard the MS Veendam. The Veendam had to travel through a massive ice field. The ship was only able to travel 1 to 5 knots going through the ice. Many times using the ships thrusters to move the ice away from the ship.
