Shot a couple of years ago in a field very local to my house, this was taken on my Sony RX100 which I don't use nearly as often as I should do!
As ever, the best camera is the one you have on you and it does make a very compact handy alternative for when you don't have anything bigger on you but equally need the optical zoom that most phone cameras don't give you.

I keep going back to this hay field. Lucky for me the neighbor hasn't finished hauling the hay bales away yet. Taking pictures of a chair in the middle of a field is a bit conspicuous. Normally I could pull this off with maybe only one car driving by. Not today! There was a farmer planting the field next to me, two different neighbor's dogs were barking at me, and two sets of neighbors saw me. Not to mention the car that drove by. But I got the picture I wanted! The chair belonged to my great grandmother and is 100 years old.

Tonight was the first time i've been out taking photos since getting back from Utah. A quick ride out to a local field that had been harvested a couple of days ago!

Found this fleld from Flickr in the morning, only 10 minites drive from my place, even closer than Point Cook one.
這是今天早上在flickr上搜尋到的, 只有10分鐘車程, 比上次拍的那個更近 ^^

I'm pleased with this painting - it gives more life to the scene. I had cropped the original photo until I got a composition I liked, but it was on the dull side [see original]. By hand-painting the photo, I could change colors, so I gave more blue to the hills and more yellow to the grass and trees. Painting allows changes to only the parts you want changed [altho the whole picture has been painted - but that's not easy to see because my style is very realistic.].

Living is easy with eyes closed,
misunderstanding all you see,
it's getting hard to be someone,
But it all works out
It doesn't matter much to me,
let me take you down,
