Dancers of the Tshechu warming up before their performance (Bhutan).
HUMANKIND, my premium, limited-edition, museum-quality standard book featuring over 200 large-format photos is available on my website: robertopazziphoto.com/#book
Bhutan, the land of the Thunder Dragon, is known for its rich cultural heritage and deeply rooted Buddhist traditions.
Among the many religious festivals celebrated in this Himalayan kingdom, Tshechu stands out as the most important and vibrant of them all.
Also known as the Mask Dance Festival, Tshechu is a time of spiritual devotion, cultural celebration, and social gathering for the Bhutanese people.
The dancer could be performed by both monks and laymen.
A Tshechu (literally "day ten") is held once a year in each district or dzongkhag of Bhutan on the tenth day of a month of the lunar Tibetan calendar. The month depends on the place.
They are large social gatherings, which perform the function of social bonding among people of remote and spread-out villages.
The focal point of the tshechus are costumed masked dances (Cham dances).

Guinnevere / David Crosby,Graham Nash ( live )
L´historia Guinnevere a Wikipedia
Guinnevere had green eyes
Like yours, mi'lady, like yours
When she'd walk down through the garden
In the morning after it rained
Peacocks wandered aimlessly
Underneath an orange tree
Why can't she see me?
Guinnevere drew pentagrams
Like yours, mi'lady, like yours
Late at night when she thought
That no one was watching at all
On the wall
She shall be free
As she turns her gaze
Down the slope to the harbor where I lay
Anchored for a day
Guinnevere had golden hair
Like yours, mi'lady, like yours
Streaming out when we'd ride
Through the warm wind down by the bay
Yesterday
Seagulls circle endlessly
I sing in silent harmony
We shall be free
As I'm having a bit of an instabreak, here's a couple more of me trousered up from last month with jacket and without.
Long exposure of feature show falls, which drops from an unnamed tributary into the Boulder River, near Darrington, WA.

While in downtown Chicago, we drove past this car. When Amy saw it she immediately said she wanted to include it in her pictures. This was one of her favorite images. She was smiling so much because of the commotion going on. We had an audience plus we had to move quickly before our car would get towed. That rushing made us laugh so much!! (Commotion can sometimes be fun!!)

I listed the planter and water feature separately, because there are several things I want to add to the foyer room box. I'm planning a coat rack, lights that really work, a bench, artwork, and possibly a potted plant or an umbrella stand.
This planter is the first large one I've done with real stone. I did a small planter for my personal diorama with white stone the size of miniature bricks, but this is stone veneer used for back splash type home improvement. I thought it would be harder to cut, but it wasn't too bad. I like the look and texture of the real stone, so I think I will use it again. It's pricey; about $20 a sheet, and I used nearly all of one sheet on this planter, but it's worth it to get a realistic look.
We have started a brand new feature on Brickbuilt: guest tutorials! Every month a guest will be contributing a new tutorial, and to kick things off, Joeri Ridder shared his beautiful tree design: tutorial link.

From Wikipedia:
Southbank was formerly an industrial area and part of South Melbourne. It was transformed into a densely populated district of high rise apartment and office buildings beginning in the early 1990s as part of an urban renewal program. Though few buildings built before this time have been spared redevelopment, Southbank does retain some significant heritage including many buildings in the major cultural precinct at the St Kilda Road end and some warehouses and wharves towards the area now known as "South Wharf".
The central feature of Southbank is Southgate Arts and Leisure Precinct, a retail, eating, and entertainment precinct on the southern bank of the Yarra River. Southgate features the iconic sculpture Ophelia by Deborah Halpern, which is the big Y symbol (representing Melbourne) that stands at Bear Brass cafe. The entertainment precinct extends along the Yarra and includes Crown Casino. The suburb also includes an office precinct and a hi-density residential precinct which has many skyscrapers, the tallest of which is the Eureka Tower. The Queensbridge Precinct includes Queensbridge Square, a pedestrian plaza and meeting place.

This image was taken at the Perkolator a super cute and cozy coffee shop from Chicago. The owners did an awesome job with the mid-century modern space-age themed. We picked this corner because it represents who our model is. Amy is a teacher! I have always respected the job teachers do, but now they I see all the after school hours that Amy invests in preparing the lessons, grading papers and worrying about the well being of her students my admiration and respect for them went to another level <3
Every day this week we'll be featuring some of our customers and the wonderful styling they have done on our wigs. We are also forming a customer gallery on our site so if you'd like to have your wig featured, do send us a mail with some photos and we'd love to include you <3

They have a beautiful little sculpt named after their son, Haru and seem to have another new release which is absolutely adorable! Haru Casting have many of our wigs and the colours always seem to work wonderfully with their infinite number of resin shades! Go have a look see at what they are all about
