Given its eye catching colors (in particular the tails), it can be found easily far away even its small size (about 3cm only)

Btw, do wonder if I got the correct ID here because the Purple Sapphire shown in my butterfly book is with much brighter yellow in color.

This spider is one of many that have infested my garden, their favourite trick is to take advantage of the small size of my garden and string their webs right across the path for you to walk into. A horrible surprise in the morning!
