Best viewed large. This green lynx spider was trying to blend in with the background, but was just too beautiful to pull it off.

Toad again, it looks similar to the previous one (of the same type?) but much small in size (less than half).

Thus, a much bigger head relatively, and much cute. :)

Some hard fact on nature....

Saw at park area

i really don't know what this is, i don't think it's a flower, rather some decorative leave... if anyone has a clue please let me know! thanx ;)

I was taking a breath of fresh air at work when I spotted this little chap. It was lying in the footpath looking distinctly dead. However when I came back it was clearly breathing but rather stunned. It had either had a close encounter with a cat or more likely a bird. By the time I had fetched a camera it was starting to move a bit. After a few quick shots I though I had better leave it alone as it had a stressful few minutes. It was very small - the body was less than 2inches (5cm) long. The whiskers are huge in relation to its body. This was taken with my Ricoh's macro mode.

Not too sure which variety of mouse it is. It size suggests a harvest mouse but everything else suggests a very small wood mouse.

This is a different view of it.
