You have to view this one large. I think this is the most beautiful moth I've ever seen! This is the same moth as "stick 'em up". I just opened the door and he was kind enough to stay out so I could get lots of shots of him/her.
This is one of my fav macros I think.. although not sure why!
Nokton 40mm + Raynox 250 combo. For more with this setup see - www.flickr.com/photos/32681588@N03/sets/72157623604419445/
Several times when we visited fish stores, I saw sea urchin skeletons and ask if I could have them. It's sad that the creatures are dead, but I'm still overwhelmed by the beauty of what's left behind. Viewing this full size reveals an amazing amount of texture and detail.
Update: This photo made it into Flickr Explore for Feb. 9, 2006
Caffeine and late night do no a good eye picture make.
I try for a neat close up and end up freaking myself out. I think it's time for bed.
Went to a nearby nursery during one of our rain breaks...and captured this shot. We bought a water tank to collect the rain water, so we'll have water to take care of our plants this spring/summer.
Unfortunately, I didn't have my fav macro lens with me.
Best viewed large. I took quite a few pictures of this lovely bee. He was a very cooperative subject.

This little just jump onto my tripod when I am digiscoping at river side.
Without any macro lens at hand, this was taken via the eye piece of my scope, looks not bad....:D
Pulse!
:-))))))
This pic was a wacky ideia and result after some glasses of whisky with Pink Floyd's Pulse CD playing at the CD player.
This is a glass paperweight that have this small bubbles inside with this blue shade.
Camera at the tripod, macro lens, a small lamp giving me this light. Everything was ok and... click! That's the result... like Pulse style!
:-))))))))))))
With the son's 13th birthday coming up this week, a new guitar - the Fender Strat he's had his eye on - is going to take the place of this one. It's onto the Wall of Fame to join the three previous guitars with this Gibson knock-off (New York Pro)
