A magical foggy morning in the park. I have never seen so many mushrooms. This photo was not easy to make, I pushed my tripod and my own skills to the limit to reach this focus stacked image. Very happy with the result as it demonstrates autumn in its finest.

I do feel like I have been getting my five a day quite a bit on autumn walks recently.

SUBJECT: JACK-O-LANTERN

(not quite 2.5" horizontally. This is a plastic 2" round jack-o-lantern. There is a battery-operated light inside but opted on turning it off.)

The San Juan Mountains is a high and rugged mountain range in the Rocky Mountains in southwestern Colorado and northwestern New Mexico. She was back to the same perch this morning. The hook and line can't be reached, the little tree hangs out over the water. The hook has been there for months and the Kingfisher has been perching there for months. I'm sure she will be fine.
