A hidden heaven. We stay there without any crowd in a beautiful morning doing nothing but looking back the way we came from and the road ahead. I miss that serenity.

You must become an island and see for yourself the horizon is all we have.

Wow. I haven't been on for awhile. I'm sorry everyone.

My ProAccount expired. Ugh. I guess I have to renew. I have so much to do.

Anyway, this is from Walden Pond in Massachusetts. I got to visit Boston last weekend to look at some colleges, and I had a lot of fun and took a significant number of photos. You can check more out here on my blog. <3

I'm trying to get together another year long project, but I want to do something different than what I've already done (365 and 52 Weeks.) I'm still trying to figure out what though. If you have any suggestions, and I would love to hear!

Alright, that's pretty much it. I hope everyone has a lovely day.

I started editing this picture as a way to procrastinate studying for my midterms, but I kinda liked the turnout of it. I've already done something similar to this a little while ago ( www.flickr.com/photos/gabrielle-h/7160363108/in/set-72157... ) . Once again, completely inspired by Boy_Wonder

ALSO, it looks much better on black.. so press L friends :)

Lesser Kestrel_(Falco naumanni)_male flight Acantilado de Barbate Spain_w_2917

Lesser Kestrel (Falco naumanni), Fleischer, 1818) is a small falcon species that is a useful ally of man in combating pests in agricultural landscapes. Once considered among the most abundant birds of prey in Europe, today, due to agriculture intensification, farmland abandonment, loss of nesting sites and intensive pesticide application it has an uncertain future.

Lesser Kestrel is strongly attached to agro-environmental landscapes, showing high preferences towards extensively managed wheat crops and extensively grazed or otherwise maintained pastures. The species is an essentially insectivorous, opportunist feeder, capable of exploiting a wide range of terrestrial and aerial prey.

Lesser Kestrels are often nesting in urban areas, as they provide nesting sites and reduced nest predation and are usually surrounded by agricultural fields or open uncultivated grasslands, securing food sources. The species is therefore highly dependent on human activity not only for foraging areas but also in terms of available nesting sites.

In the past, the Lesser Kestrel was widely spread in southern & eastern Europe, nesting “everywhere” in the mid-19th century. Nowadays more efforts have been made to accommodate this beautiful little falcon, by installing nest boxes in old buildings.

This lovely male out hawking for insects along the clifftops of the southern Spanish town of Barbate and breeds at an ancient dovecot, adjacent to the lovely secluded hotel called El Palomar de La Breña. A great place for walkers and anyone interested in nature.

Ridin' the waves while the others chill on the beach...this one really is the "black gull" of the family.

Yellow Rowan Berries

Our Eastern Bluebirds raised a brood in Spring and then left for the Summer. They have been in the yard again recently, checking inside the box and showing interest. Too late in the season for a brood. Our beautiful world, pass it on.

If you look closely, you can see a Canada goose standing to the left of the tree. They are BIG birds, indicating that this is indeed a BIG tree.

Recently, the President has fallen under a dangerous sickness. Though she tries to hold Press Conferences and speechs, she is just too weak. The Argentinean public is in chaos. Some say she should step down until she feels well and others say that she should step down permanently. Riots and strikes have been going on all over Argentina. The Secretary of Defense ordered the Army to step in and take control.
