What's better than 1 waterfall? 2 waterfalls! Haha. School pretty much sucked last week, and I really wanted to clear my head. So, I packed up the truck with my camera gear and went hiking on this beautiful fall day. Being out in the wilderness by yourself is an awesome way to clear you head and enjoy life just a little bit more.

fall fall fall. jesus i love it. tomorrow its supposed tp be 50 degrees and pouring all day. thank god i got out today to take pictures today. im wearing my new skirt from new life and im in such a good mood. i hope to drag my boyfriend to see frankin weenie tomorrow. our one year anniversary is in 9 days and my birthday is in 24 :) october is a wonderful month.

I drove along the Hudson River in search of fall color yesterday. A two hour drive from Long Island to Putnam County provided a different environment to explore. Though the spectacle was more muted than most years due to the dry warm weather, it was still very pretty. It is always amazing to me how the varied New York State is: Niagara Falls, Appalachian Trail, Atlantic Ocean, the Thousand Islands...

Welp, it is 2016! I feel a picture of a road has its place today, reminding us of where we have come from, where we want to go, and the joys and struggles that lie in our path. This is one of my favorite roads... and it leads to the beautiful Pacific.
