farmer's markets are everywhere these days... this one was in the financial district, on the ground floor, inside a three-tiered galleria. i zoomed in on the peppers from the second tier and then edited to crop, get rid of a stain on the blue table cover, clone out some stray veggies, deepen the shadows and change the colors.
My wife suggested to me recently that every shot doesn't have to have clouds, or fog in them. This one is for her.
Here is a classic October sunrise in Santa Cruz at Its Beach last Saturday. A compressed fog deck flowed in and out through out the morning. This shot was captured during a brief moment as the flog retreated.
I had fun on this shoot with flckr friend Sam Post. There were a lot of great moments during that morning, but this capture was my favorite.

A 3 stop hard GND filter was used and slight adjustment to levels in Photoshop. This is exactly how the colors looked. No HDR.

Meredith Corporation, publisher of Better Homes and Gardens, Good Housekeeping, Redbook and other major magazines, maintains a Test Garden on its Des Moines, Iowa headquarters corporate campus. The Test Garden serves as a display garden, a testing ground for plants, and a photography studio for the company's many publications and Web sites.

This is a super simple but delicious recipe!
The recipe offers just a hint of lemon in it! To make it more flavorful use a lemon cake mix and sub a small amount of the water for lemon juice /flavoring..what ever you like! Even add a lemon glaze.
Because I have many lemon recipes we like to snack on this one just as its written!
Poppy Seed Bread
1 Yellow Cake mix
1 box lemon instant pudding
¼ cup poppy seeds
4 eggs
½ cup oil
1 cup hot water
Blend all ingredients (but poppy seeds) for 4 mins
Blend in poppy seeds
Bake in 2 greased and floured bread pans, at 350..40-45 mins or till done.
Can be frozen
