Can't believe how fast Fall is going by. We got our first snow today. Can't remember the last time it was this early. Hopefully that means we will get a lot of it this year. I miss the snow we got when I was younger.
While walking Echo at the river we saw dozens of Amanita mushrooms under the trees at the park. We've had lots of rain recently and so the Fall fungi is in full swing.

Still waters reflect brilliant fall colors. Small inaccessible pond tucked away on the mountain side of Kicking Horse ski resort in Golden. wet running shoes after this shot.

I really like the full frame version of this image, but I love how this close-in crop brings out what I call a 'painterly rendering' from my Fujifilm X-E2s camera.
It is a completely different camera and sensor, but it manages to remind me of the way my Fujifilm F30 produced pictures. That little point and shoot camera was capable of out shooting my Nikon DSLR at times.
