Took 102 pictures this morning at our Trailer drop yard. The brush and wild growth behind the property doesn't look like much, until you take a macro look. Found a large variety of small wildflowers and even some blackberries and some red ones, not yet turned black. I'll post about a dozen in this series.

I wasn't going to upload this, but something about it makes me love it a lot! If you want to see more Skate and Surf photos, go look at New Noise Magazine's website! newnoisemagazine.com

This is about what I felt like after being in the thick woods and crossing numerous swollen creeks and trampling thru mud. It was not a long walk but the walk is becoming long enough at times. It was still good to get out.

"It was like falling down an elevator shaft and landing in a pool full of mermaids."

This was a fall scene in northwestern New Jersey, on a lake near the Delaware River.

A few days earlier, the tree on the left had just a little fall color on one branch and those bare tree were fully covered in leaves.

Pond with footbridge in Duvall, WA.

Sand shifting beneath little feet often makes it hard to stay upright when climbing sand dunes. This little guy, trying to keep up with his mother is about to fall to the sand...all part of the fun.

From the Tunnel View lookout point as you enter the Yosemite valley, Bridalveil Fall is truly mesmerizing. The 620-foot waterfall against the granite walls of the mountains is one of the most spectacular sights in the USA.

One of my faves. A masterpiece :)

Back in September of 2011 ex-Soo road power could still be sometimes found roaming the CP system but catching matched sets of SD60's was pretty cool even then. I completely lucked into this pair of candy apple red ones leading CP 265 westbound through Kent Bridge, Ontario on the first day of a very memorable long weekend spent "up north". Autumn leaves without autumn

The Class of 2017 filled the Cajundome and Convention Center and Bourgeois Hall to the brim with the pride and joy of 1,218 new UL Lafayette graduates and their families. Commencement speaker Former Governor and alumna Kathleen Blanco and B.I. Moody III both received honorary Doctorates. Relive the emotions of the day through our photos.

some pretty leaves in the wet grass..yes, more bokeh LOL

A beautiful morning hike at my favorite wetlands. As Fall begins its takeover, I love the subtle color changes in the foliage, as well as the reduction in humidity.

Funny how it looks like late Autumn with the vivid colorations mixed with still barren trees. Parts of the Housatonic are still crossable. These little islands and rock formations create raging channels of water much deeper.
