Been away from Flickr for a while. Many reasons. Travel, work and apathy, to name but three. Still in the U.S. right now. Might be back when I get back. If you follow me. Literally! Heartily sick of people following me who have zero intention of looking at any of my images. If you are one of them, you are probably looking at this quite by accident. Now go away and DO NOT FOLLOW ME unless you accept this is a two way street. I joined Flickr because I liked looking at other people's work, and enjoyed some social interaction. Went out this morning to photograph some deer, hoping to get some large bucks. Didn't get to photograph any bucks but did see some does and all the yellow flowers made for a nice backdrop.

Looks like Autumn, feels like Summer. Last Sunday a beautiful sunset with temperatures in the mid 20ies. River Werre near Bad Oeynhausen, Ostwestfalen, Germany
The chair that moves to indicate the day of the year is almost to the end of October so this is the peak of fall color.
This is from Waterfall 227 near Guntersville, Alabama. The outflow of this waterfall always has a wispy, ghostly feel to it. It really gives the effect of speed. The Autumn leaves create a colorful frame to this shot.
