I was sitting on a bench resting my tired feet when this older gentlemen joined me and saw I had a camera. He sat and said, "You know there are faeries in that tree behind you". I looked ..... and he was right.
Camelot Days Medieval Festival.
The toy camera clicks through four pictures of tourist destinations, including a BC Ferries ship. There is a red felted devil doll laying behind with a sword through its heart. Sewed onto its face is a fabric photo of yours truly. The Faerie doll is a gift from my daughter, the red devil is from my partner. They are placed on the top ledge of the bookcase beside my desk.
I posted a very similar photo in black and white ages ago and after about 3 months decided I liked the colour version better.
Let's bring some apples to Wizzy & Wuzzy! ♀️💞

The Sunday night finale at the Cambridge Folk Festival was the Peatbog Faeries, who rocked the crowd. Crap shot I know, but what the hey ;-)
Taken during a weekend meetup with Thomas Hawk in my hometown of Houston.
Thomas Hawk and I stopped by for lunch in Niko Niko's, a fantastic little Greek restaurant in the Neartown district of Houston. Afterwards, we stopped by The Magick Cauldron, Houston's self-proclaimed "premier Pagan religious supplier". We didn't stay long as "these kind of places creep [TH] out".

I've been working on Holly, she's the faerie of the holly plant. I thought she would be really cute for Christmas. There is a lot of interesting lore about the holly plant, and it has healing properties too! I will be writing more about that when she is all finished. ^_^

Portrait of a crying faerie. The expression was somewhat accidental, and inspired the rest of the painting, including letting the paint flow off the canvas. This was my first faerie painting, hence the name of the piece.
The faerie's skin is an unusual shade, and she has beautiful purple wings.
Come away, O human child
To the waters and the wild
With a faery, hand in hand
For the world's more full of weeping
Than you can understand.
This was all my friend's idea - forest spirit beckoning the viewer to steal away and join the faerie folk, inspired by the Loreena McKennitt song quoted above. The woods in March didn't work too well (not leafed out yet!), but with a bit of editing I got the ethereal look the photo needed.

This is a little collection of my Mums beautiful hand made one off faerie sculptures....I just had to slip them in. I did a craft stall with her at 'the 3 wishes faerie fest' last year. I just love them, they are amazing pieces of art and with beautiful spirits.

Personal Comments: At first it's just a shimmery pale blue but then up close, it's just an explosion of different shades of blue and green. Applied over Urban Decay Primer Potion and Fyrinnae Pixie Epoxy. This picture was taken outside in natural light.
