Inhabiting the Faerie Garden at Tesselaar's. I think these are permanent residents no matter whether they have the Tulip Festival in Spring or the autumnal KaBloom Festival of flowers. They hide in the shadows of the bower nearby in tune with the hanging crystals! :)) Happy Wing Wednesday!

Having processed Light at the End of the Tunnel in less time than I had anticipated it had one of those ‘I wonder what would happen if…?’ moments that are the bane of my attempts at becoming a serious photographer.
“Fun was had,” as they say, “but I had nothing to do with it. Honest!”
I’ll post this version in my 100x Wobbly Camera project so as not to buzz either group with the same image.
Thanks for looking. Have fun. Happy 100x :)
I tried manually focusing this and I really like how it turned out. I've been messing around with the functions on Charlotte (my t3i), which really make me happy (:
Spellbound has made this beautiful hairstyle for Enchantment! If you haven’t been to Enchantment yet you should because it ends on the 31st of May! The hair has a version with/without the butterflies. There is a hud so you can change the colors of the butterflies as well. Come get it! Landmark: maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Nymphai/66/147/3620
“Perhaps all women are part faerie, for what woman can deny her faerie blood when the portals to her own land are open; when the full moon sings its insistent song; when sorrow and passion and rage pulse through her body at moon times. This is why women are the chosen ones of Faerie, part of the vibrant, fluid, emotional soul of the world…”
― Brian Froud, Brian Froud's World of Faerie
Another from my favourite part of the Fairy Pools with Sgurr an Fheadain as a backdrop, near Glenbrittle, Isle of Skye. I liked the moody sky, in this one and the dusting of snow on the Cuillins was lovely!.
I was walking through the woods on an island on the Lake and saw this beautiful moss covered tree with a tiny opening at it's base. It looked so magical!
The ancient forests of The Trossachs, Scotland, are home to the myths and legends of The Urisks - the Faeries of the Forests. When you come across sights like this it is easy to believe the old stories. Taken near Bracklinn Falls, at the small town of Callander.
.
As I was going through photos from this last October, I noticed one in which there was a figure which looked as if it were dusting the leaves.
I thought perhaps an extreme slide might be appropriate. I did a bunch of dodging and burning. Then copied and turned it to LAB color mode. Inverting the A channel turned a lot of the green to magenta and therefore brown when combined with the yellow of the B channel.
I masked off the faerie duster so that a separate curves adjustment accentuated its blue.
And strange as it seems, this is what I saw when looking at the unedited image.
The unedited image is in the first comment box.
Happy Sliders Sunday!
Dim vales—and shadowy floods—
And cloudy-looking woods,
Whose forms we can’t discover
For the tears that drip all over:
Huge moons there wax and wane—
Again—again—again—
Every moment of the night—
Forever changing places—
And they put out the star-light
With the breath from their pale faces.
(Edgar Allen Poe)
This is a blended exposure inspired by the work of Chris Friel. The underlay was an intentional camera movement vertical pan
