I've made two amazing discoveries in the past day: mushrooms, and faeries!!

The mushrooms are an unusual sight in my yard, their growth spurred by several days in a row of heavy rain.

The faeries are teeny glow-in-the-dark plastic figures purchased at a really cool toy store yesterday.

However, isn't is just more fun to pretend that these faeries live in my yard, amongst the toadstools??

A children's story written about a the Faerie Festival held every July. It is written for little children and for the children at heart who still BELIEVE in faeries. I just added the story to my wordpress blog this morning. You can find the story in my Children's Writing blog:

These well themed faerie houses appeared outside of Royal Bank this morning.

Several other faeries houses were found in other areas of Annapolis Royal as well!

A new project in Forest Park, behind my house. I've resolved to make one of these every time we go for a walkabout.
