Where beauty has no ebb, decay no flood,

But joy is wisdom,

Time an endless song.

I kiss you and the world begins to fade.

This is located in the small town of Fife Lake where I grew up. There are several beautiful barns in this area as well as stunning

scenery. Looking back now I wonder why I moved away.

I think that the clamatis is beautiful as well in bloom

as fading.

All I feel now,

Is the weight of the day,

I need you with me,

To push it away,

We disappeared into each other,

Colors appeared and bleed into one,

Fade into me, fade into you,

Two of us melting together until we become something new,

We can't escape,

And watch the world chasing to find us,

Both of us hidden from view,

If you, fade into me, fade into me...

Every faded flower has a story ⚘⚘

You can't tear me down

Beat me to the ground

Try to block my sunshine

My blue skies with your clouds

And who do you think you are

Yeah that won't get you far

You may think you're pretty

But you'll see that beauty

Is a fading flower

...but not without shining again in all its glory. The last of the sunlight turned this poppy flower into something beautiful, something unique and unforgettable that evening in June. You will bloom again next year and I will visit you and admire all your beauty to the new you wonder of nature, the poppy flower. Life is so fleeting and we should set out to enjoy every single day and give people a smile, over and over again. It doesn't hurt and doesn't cost us anything!!!

This image is inspired by the fact that this year - it´s 40 years since Metallica released "Ride the Lightning" with the song Fade to Black (released on July 27, 1984). It´s a dark song but still a masterpiece!

Life it seems to fade away

Drifting further everyday

Getting lost within myself

Nothing matters, no one else

I have lost the will to live

Simply nothing more to give

There is nothing more for me

I need the end to set me free,

Nothing to fear

But fear itself

We'll be okay

Just keep the faith

And we won't fade into darkness

Fade into darkness

No, we won't fade into darkness

A beautiful late afternoon in my hometown. Autumn brings such lovely color to the world. Too bad it's almost over.

Set up and shot this in a bit of a hurry to be able to upload it in time for this week's "Looking close... on Friday!" theme "Fading Beauty in Flora", making use of some withered flowers that fell off one of my Phalaenopsis orchids. I like how it turned out, considering how little time I had to work on it!
