You were the shadow to my light
Did you feel us?
Another star
You fade away
Afraid our aim is out of sight
Wanna see us
Alight
Where are you now?
Where are you now?
Where are you now?
Was it all in my fantasy?
Where are you now?
Were you only imaginary?
Taken in Richland, Washington near the Snyder boat launch.
Constructive criticism always appreciated.

The sun is near to setting. The Owl awakens... waiting for darkness and hunting time.

Song:
Long exposure time and light hand movement when swinging my camera, sometimes please me the most when using ICM technique. My camera then paints a ghost picture that seems to fade out of sight. Just like looking at the landscape through tears or raindrops.
Olderdalen, Norway.
ICM, single exposure.

Bleeding Heart flowers always bring feelings of nostalgia to me. They seem so quaintly old-fashioned.
"What is one to say about June, the time of perfect young summer, the fulfillment of the promise of the earlier months, and with as yet no sign that its fresh young beauty will ever fade."
~ Gertrude Jekyll
Empire State bldg in full view. Sadly these iconic views are slowly fading and becoming more scant as it becomes enveloped by the modern age. Very melancholy that is slowly fading from view
If that sun would have just
Hung up in that sky
Just a little bit, yeah
Just a little bit longer
If those blue water waves
Could've stayed at our feet
On a beach instead of going out with the tide
If that wind was a friend
It'd still be blowing in
Like a warm southern whisper on her
She might have stayed forever
And never ever left these arms
If only I
Had a little more summertime...

More drying thistles here at home. I love wildflowers/weeds,in all stages of their lives. I didn't notice the cow in the background when I took the photo. Just a blur, but I kept her in the scene.
I was doing some gardening today before the rain hits tomorrow. I deadheaded the roses but it seemed a shame to put them in the compost before taking a photo of them. Since they are fading away anyway I decided on a faded vintage edit with a couple of textures (my own).
I used my nifty fifty as a change from all things Lensbaby.
